I've never seen a fighter use the southpaw stance like Manny does. The way he uses it to set up his power shots, how he throws "crossover punches" as if he was playing basketball, and he has a great right hand now.

He's the most well-versed southpaw of all time.
I stopped reading there. Pete was NOT a runner. Pete's defensive was just insane and he was extremely hard to hit.

Seeing as everyone is only mentioning Marvin Hagler and Sweet Pea I'm gonna go and show some love for Vicente Saldivar, he was much more skilled then Manny imo.

(Maybe Flash Elorde, only seen a few fights of his though, not going to judge).

a lot of haters thinK when u move around, not trying to get hit and a technical boxer he is more skilled that Manny. what a ****ng idiot saying Judah has more skilled that Manny. Manny wouldnt win a fighter of the year 3x and fighter of a decade if he was an average boxer. wake up haters! just because you guys hate Manny doesnt mean he has no skills. how could you win 7 division titles and 4 lineal without skills? ur a f*ucking idiot thinking Manny has no skills. he would busted Judah and u would still say Judah is better right? anything Manny does wouldnt be enough because you dont want little Asian guy from a 3rd world country recognized as one of the best ATG and the best southpaw EVER.

Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter, but overall skills... it's Whitaker.

Hagler not skilled and Whitaker only ran?

                  NSB....I love it.

Indeed. Saldivar was amazing. Truly skilled.

It's really funny though. You know immediately when someone has either never watched a guys fights or has watched maybe one or two of his fights throughout his whole career when they say ****** **** like this.

"Whitaker just ran away and pot shotted" or "Hagler was just a brawler with good conditioning".

Whenever you see these comments you know they have most likely just picked up talk from other people without ever watching them actually fight or they've seen a highlight or two and maybe even one whole fight *gasp*.

Ah man, where do these guys come from?

Which is to say hardly at all you mean? If the young, prime Oscar fighting at his peak at 147 couldn't touch a coked up, past prime Whitaker what is Pac gonna do?

Oh, and you take Sugar's word seriously do ya just because he says Pac is great? Does that mean you also take his word that Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Harry Greb etc are all much higher than Pac on his ATG list? I guess you must.
