I have no doubt in my mind that Berto beats Clottey.

I'll chose the guy who showed me he could beat gatekeepers and beat elites before giving the fights away. Thankfully Berto is no elite.

      Gtfo!

Yeah well they've both beaten gatekeepers, and neither has beaten elites.

Unfortunately, Clottey doesn't have the testicular fortitude to lay it on the line when he needs to win.

        Berto HAS show us that.

        Gtfo!

if berto/clottey ever happens IMO clottey wins this one. Cause he has a new move that is borderline illegal which he used against Pac. That is stepping on his opponents foot making them to be off balance after his opponent throw a punch then Clottey's counter attack begins. He was successful with this cause of his solid high guard where he can close the gap with ease.

he showed you that against a gatekeeper. Clottey doesn't need to against gatekeepers since he is probably kicking their ass.

Tends to be how Clottey fights go except for the one against Pac. I think Berto wins a clear decision than that.

Clottey doesn't have a will to win when facing an ATG like Pacquiao and gives fights away aaginst elites like a prime Margarito and semi prime Cotto. That said I doubt he needs one to beat Berto who has to lay his *ass-h ole out on the line, and exceivly hold when he is still a young fighter to beat a smaller, supposedly weaker gatekeeper in Collazo, who clearly lost and was bullied by Ricky Hatton.

The Corrales fight was the same thing as fighting a blown up Urango. Guess who looked better.

I will reserve my verdict on berto when he actually fights an elite fighter.

You think the public enjoys seeing mismatches and dull fights? Or do you think HBO is so good at polishing turds that people are suckered into buying fights they wouldn't normally buy?

Slick propaganda has prevailed my friend.
Alright I'm going to respectfully disagree with you though. the last real fight floyd had was against the top WW in the division shane mosley and before that was ricky hatton. and don't he was so much smaller it was a mismatch because he started his career at 140 while floyd did at 130 so they were both highly rated fighters and both comfortable at 147. before that was DLH who was the top ranked jrMW and floyd fought him at jr.MW while weighing 150 lbs with no catchweight btw so I'd say that was a real fight. there's manufactured fighters and there's fighters who earn their place at the top floyd's one of the latter however mad people might be that he didn't fight margarito or cotto in the past.
