Margarito is a tuneup now? Floyd fans are getting more and more desperate by the day.

I think that's moot since OST is for BOTH fighters.
Let's not forget Floyd agreed to ALL of Manny's requests.
Well you and I see different. I don't think he's looked good in nearly two years and besides, who cares? Who can't look good against that guy? Making his performance even more damning.
Considering Holyfield was a 25-1 underdog, what do you think? You do realize that was one of the greatest upsets in history right? LOL. Man oh man.
How is it mute? your eliminating a vital factor as to why one might be hesitant to take a test, that he has been personally insulted, someone is insinuating he is on drugs on the back off baseless claims, see you say forget this *****-packtard thing but almost everything you say is excusing Mayweather one way or another, or discrediting opponents(Marg), btw, you still did not answer the question, could it be because you know what im saying is true, that Mayweather would not submit to it? i think so.

See what i mean? Marg looked okay to anyone with a neutral stand point on things, not spectacular, not like ****, just okay, but there is no question his Boxing skills look to have improved marginally, sounds like your just looking for something else to discredit.
And what? that is just one instance of a top line fighter who was perceived to be an underdog based on recent performances who went on to bring out a performance and upset the odds, Hopkins vs Pavlik, again i could keep going, but how many do you want me to name before you concede the point im making?
Your either a Manny hater, or a Floyd fan.Comment

Of course he is. He hasn't had a significant win in two years and looked remarkably lethargic against a chump in Mexico. Not to mention lost every second of every round before being knocked senseless the last time he faced an elite fighter. PPV? I think not.Comment

There is no way Bob would risk manny losing with the potential floyd/manny fight still out there. This will likely turn into a glorified sparring session just like the Clottey fight. If Manny fights a non top rank guy, because as I understand he hasn't officially signed the contract yet, then I would change my opinion.Comment

Not mute, moot. Further, I did answer your question. Let me ask you this - what request did Pacquiao have that Floyd turned down? Exactly, nothing. Even a ridiculous 10m weight penalty. So there is no reason to believe he'd say no.How is it mute? your eliminating a vital factor as to why one might be hesitant to take a test, that he has been personally insulted, someone is insinuating he is on drugs on the back off baseless claims, see you say forget this *****-packtard thing but almost everything you say is excusing Mayweather one way or another, or discrediting opponents(Marg), btw, you still did not answer the question, could it be because you know what im saying is true, that Mayweather would not submit to it? i think so.
I disagree. I spoke to several people on here and my colleagues and we all agreed that, at best, it was a strange performance. I'm actually a fan of Margarito but I call a spade a spade. I thought he was slipping when he fought Cotto. And after that fight I remember thinking, both of these guys aren't going to be the same. Well he looked like **** against Shane. And he failed to impress against a top 50 fighter.See what i mean? Yeah, all of those were big upsets. Can that happen? Sure. This is boxing, anything can happen. I think you're missing the point here. And what? that is just one instance of a top line fighter who was perceived to be an underdog based on recent performances who went on to bring out a performance and upset the odds, Hopkins vs Pavlik, again i could keep going, but how many do you want me to name before you concede the point im making?
That is irrelevant, my friend. I take Floyd to task when he needs to be taken to task. I wrote a pretty direct article about his blatant ducking of Margarito back in 2006. If it's BS, it's BS. But that's not the point here so - again - let's cut the *****/*******, hater crap out.Your either a Manny hater, or a Floyd fan.Comment

What is not considered a tune up then? cause i can throw many names at you that can either be considered, still a prospect, or look like **** in their last fight and have less chance than guys like Cotto, Marg who have been to the top but who's recent performance (Cotto/Foreman aside) did not go as planned.
What you gonna say, that a Berto win does more for Manny, Berto has never fought anyone on that level, barely got by Collazo, looked like **** against Quintana.
Williams, looked like **** against Kermit Cintron, infact was outboxed! from range, also, lets not level guys at Manny that Floyd himself would not dream of fighting.
I dont see Mayweather taking on guys that have a realistic chance of beating irrespective of style match up. You know i, like you, called it that Mosley was done, that Floyd would dominate him.Comment

Let's see...Margarito is by far the biggest fighter Manny has ever faced, he is 5 inches taller at least and will outweigh Manny by about 15-20 pounds on fight night. He is a iron chinned pressure fighter with unlimited stamina who throws 100 punches a round and never stops moving forward. Margarito won 3 of the 4 major belts at welterweight, has notable wins over Sergio Martinez, Joshua Clottey and Miguel Cotto, a razor close decision loss to Paul Williams and only one clear loss in his entire career to Shane Mosley.
The fact that you are calling this fight a tuneup makes me question how much boxing you actually watch.Comment

Yeah but that was the past bro. Bringing up a win versus Joshua Clottey (FOUR YEARS AGO) and Sergio Martinez (EONS AGO) is akin to saying Roy Jones isn't a tuneup because he beat James Toney. Unlimited stamina? He barely threw 50 punches a round in his last bout. Stop pretending he's the same guy. He's not. Actually, bookmark this page and come back after you've spent your $60 to see what you should've known prior.Let's see...Margarito is by far the biggest fighter Manny has ever faced, he is 5 inches taller at least and will outweigh Manny by about 15-20 pounds on fight night.
