Ok. And? What does that have to do with Manny fighting two straight tune up fights?

      Negotiate.......

: to arrange for or bring about through conference, discussion, and compromise
The point is that the negotiations died before they began. Meaning as soon as terms were proposed. There were no further discussions, nothing. And since neither side refused to budge, there was never any point to continue negotiations. So while conversations were had a week or two after May-Mosley - with Greenburg playing middle man - there were no real negotiations. In fact, had Arum not pretended as if he were in discussions with GBP, this wouldn't have been an issue.

Well it's 2010 and Margarito certainly doesn't deserve what he's getting now. And we don't deserve to watch a second straight tuneup on PPV. Disgraceful.

            Your a Mayweather apologist.

A tune up? lets see Mayweather tune up against a guy like Marg, what ever you think of Marg, he beat the living day lights out of Cotto, and Cotto beat Mosley, when Mosley actually had something left, pre Floyd.

I can't believe bob would risk jeopardizing a floyd/manny fight by putting him in against someone who could beat him.

Who is bashing him? I'm calling it what it is. Dude, has will have fought 2 guys this year that do NOTHING for him as a fighter. FACT. He's fighting two guys that have done NOTHING to warrant a fight with him. FACT. They are what they are, tune up fights. And, you can say what you want about Mayweather. Criticize him all you want, but at least state facts.

I'm no Mayweather apologist. Just because I support his want for OSTs against Pacquiao doesn't mean I wouldn't call him out on some BS. So please cut the bull**** and let's argue on the merit of the points. Not some *****/******* nonsense.

Second, the Margarito who beat up Cotto probably doesn't exist. His last fight against Garcia was very, very unimpressive. And Garcia, for lack of a better term, sucks. It's unfair to say "When Mosley actually had something left" and then pretend as if Margarito didn't take more punches against Cotto & Mosley back to back then most fighters do their whole career. And it finally showed in his last fight.

Where went the balls when he demanded a 150 pound catch weight? Fight the man at a full 154 if the title is on the line.
