Pacquiao is requesting to fight in a catch weight and now everyone seems to against it.. I mean c'mon the fight should not been taken place to begin with.. and you thought ODLH was bad.. Margarito‎ is alot taller than him...
Im sick and tired of ppl here bashing Pacquiao about catch weight.. This fight should at the very LEAST fight in a catch-weight..

Though I like your comparison, I think it would be more like a Sprinter challenging a Marathoner to a short distance race and then claiming to be a champion Marathoner. It just don't work like that.

If you're not big enough to fight for the 154lb title... then don't fight for it.

If Pac steps up to the JMW division, he should be fighting guys that weigh-in within the 154 limit. Otherwise his little paper belt means ****.

' Oh but Margarito is huge compared to him '.

Duhh, no ****. That's the whole point and the reason why it's a hard thing to do, because you go up against guys much bigger than you. Where's the fun if the other fighter has to fight at a catchweight to make things ' fair '.

On top of that he's fighting Margarito, who isn't even the best at 154.
                Exactly...........

This is true, between 148-154. You shouldn't challenge for a title at that weight if the only way you'll fight is with a limit between 148-150.

So why can't margo weight in at 154 for the 147.1 - 154 title bout?

                      It isn't the 147.1 - 150 title bout.

(and why is Manny getting a shot at a vacant 154 title when he has never fought ar JrMW?)
