So you're saying that a fighter can weigh in at 153 for a JMW fight, and it'll still be a JMW title fight?

What rules are these? Maybe in Istanbul, but this is news to me if this is legal in the states.

If he or anyone of his team does not think he can make it at the full limit of the division, then he probably does not belong there...and certainly not for a championship. Catchweights are bull****, especially for title fights...vacated title fights.

I assume you meant 135. If so, I didnt say 2 fighters fighting at 135 is a jmw fight. I said anyone under 154 lbs can fight for the 154 lb title. If you weigh more than that you can't. SO, if you are the 154 lb champ and I weigh 146 I can fight you for your belt.

Your kidding right? Last week you guys were bitching about Marg getting a payday...how he's shot to hell...but now your only problem is the belt for the catch weight?!?

I'm a pac fan and think its rediculous for him to fight for another belt at a catch weight but there is no way in hell you can say that's the only thing people are complaining about.

Pacquiao is requesting to fight in a catch weight and now everyone seems to against it.. I mean c'mon the fight should not been taken place to begin with.. and you thought ODLH was bad.. Margarito‎ is alot taller than him...
Im sick and tired of ppl here bashing Pacquiao about catch weight.. This fight should at the very LEAST fight in a catch-weight..
Not if its for the title, though. He will be making boxing history by cheating it if he wins. 147-154 is that weight division, period!

Don't try and justify this catchweight bull****.

If Pac steps up to the JMW division, he should be fighting guys that weigh-in within the 154 limit. Otherwise his little paper belt means ****.

' Oh but Margarito is huge compared to him '.

Duhh, no ****. That's the whole point and the reason why it's a hard thing to do, because you go up against guys much bigger than you. Where's the fun if the other fighter has to fight at a catchweight to make things ' fair '.

On top of that he's fighting Margarito, who isn't even the best at 154.

people tend to have short memories around here, no offense to them or anything.. they tend to forget how most of us reacted to situations/fights years ago, the fact that pac fighting at welter to begin with is razy, **** i remember when he went to 1235 peop-le were not sure he would be able to evne handle that.. it has only been 2 years sinse he last fought at 130 o.0
