    props to Berto....

If this is as least a little true, i have to give some props Berto for having some balls, i don't think he has a big chance, but will be avery good match up, Cotto cannot over looked Berto., but if Berto thinks this is Luis Collazo he is in for a rude awakening, Arum should let them fight and quit controlling boxings course!

      You don't know the facts.........

We all know why the BERTO/MOSLEY fight didn't happen in JAN. and just a few weeks ago, HBO still pushed for BERTO/MOSLEY even after MOSLEY got his soul taken from him against MAYWEATHER. MOSLEY wanted a 60/40 split and BERTO said HELL NO! He's the champ and wanted a 50/50 split. Then MOSLEY goes and finds MORA and will fight him for 60/40. What a joke ey? So, did he really intend on fighting BERTO???? Huh? I didn't think so. And if that MOSLEY would have shown up against BERTO, He would have gotten K.O.ed!!!!!! Lucky for MOSLEY, MAYWEATHER doesn't have any power.

That would be a great fight. But i can see Cotto winning it. Berto can very undisciplined at most times.

            Lay it out.

How does Berto seal the deal against Cotto?

I can't remember the round, but Quintana smacked Berto in the face with a HARD straight left in their fight. It was a thing of beauty. Cotto's left jab is a nasty weapon and seems to rock back a lot of guys (recently Pacquiao and Foreman), so I think a fight between these 2 would be a case of speed vs power.

Berto has excellent handspeed, but he fights like a total idiot. He has a weird and inefficient stance, gives up way too much height, holds all the fucking time, leans back so much that his straight right has to over-reach in order to land, has very flat feet, poor footwork, and his jab is a blatant backhand.

Meanwhile Cotto's handspeed is pretty ****ty (apart from his jab), but that power of his isn't to be messed with if you're not on PEDs. I think at 154 he could really do some damage to Berto if he manages to escape his holding tactics and keep a tight guard to deflect his quick shots. Berto has power too, but not on that level.

But who do you think Cotto would rather fight?

A boxer puncher ala Mosley and Judah or a pressure fighter who fights like a bigger Margocheato.

Its a better style for Cotto.

But its still a tough fight.
Cotto vs Angulo might be the more exciting fight but Cotto is also a pretty good counter puncher, so what could happen just like the Cintron fight you could get Angulo just walking right into a lot of punches ALL NIGHT

I hate to go against Angulo because I like the guy a lot but I see what I see and I think that once Angulo runs into a BOXER with Speed, he is going to have MAJOR PROBLEMS, if he fights Sergio Martinez he would probably lose by UD, I do like Angulo chance against Paul Williams though since Williams really doesn't have much movement as for as footwork goes, Angulo could probably KO Williams if he catches him

but Berto's hand Speed and Offensive is going to give these guys problems, only flaw in Berto's game is his defense and him wanting to please the crowd a little to much like the Collazo fight in which he could have out-boxed Collazo but he wanted to stand in and Exchange with Collazo, if Berto fights like that against Cotto he is going to get KO'd

i think that berto is too explosive for cotto. has good head movement, strong and fast.

the moment he taps cotto with somthing he will be all up in cottos guard.

the moment he puts that pressure on cotto, cotto gets on his bike. i think berto will cotto and make him fight in closer quarters than he'd like making cotto uncomfortable
