I like Angulo but he is SLOW and STIFF, Berto hand speed would give him SERIOUS problems

Berto is being very underestimated here, I think he would give Cotto some serious problems, Berto can apply the pressure on Cotto offensively

No doubt Berto has more skills and is better overall fighter.

But who do you think Cotto would rather fight?

A boxer puncher ala Mosley and Judah or a pressure fighter who fights like a bigger Margocheato.

Its a better style for Cotto.

But its still a tough fight.

Berto should definitely win this fight based on Cotto of late. Cotto is not the same Cotto as before. Berto has the skills to take advantage. Cotto's my dude but I think he needed another softee. Berto is a harder puncher than Foreman but it should still be a very interesting fight.

Good to see a lot of people think Cotto will win I don't want to hear Berto fights damaged fighters and the same people discrediting Berto after he beats Cotto.


This is a great match up for Berto. A plodding guy who comes forward vs a guy who likes to jab and explode with combos if you leave yourself opened. Easy fight for Berto and finally a break from all the southpaws he's been fighting.

I think Cotto enjoys fighting guys like Berto.

Berto looked very uncomfortable against a slow podding Urango.

I know a southpaw right?

Wasn't Quintana a southpaw?

So only slow plodding southpaws give him trouble?

I'll give Berto all the credit in the world if he beats Cotto.

I know Cotto is not your conventinal pressure fighter.

He boxes with you and pressures in spots.

I think unless you can impose your will on him like Margo and Pac and to a lesser extent Clottey you are screwed.

I don't think Berto can do it.

But he could prove me wrong.
