Cotto has one of the best resumes of this era. Maybe the best since Oscar.

        This fight needs to happen.

Cotto stops Berto, no doubt in my mind.

Sometimes nsb amazes me. There's very little chance Berto beats Cotto. Cotto has fought stronger and faster guys than Berto and held his own. Plus he's getting his basics back in shape with Steward. A good jab, smart pressure, and timely counters can easily carry him to a victory over Berto.
A "drained" Cotto held his own for several rounds against Manny Pacquiao. Berto is laughably nowhere near Pac's level. Margo's gloves were loaded.
I've never seen anything from Berto that makes me pick him to beat Miguel.

I think Berto woulld give him a tougher fight than most expect, but yeah, nice win for his resumé.

Cut Cotto some slack. He's fought plenty of top names and it's not like Berto is a chump. Good matchup.

How can you not be a fan of Miguel Cotto? He's been on such a murderous run since the Judah fight, taking two beatings that would mess other fighters up for life, including one where his opponent may have been putting his life in danger, yet what does he do? First he goes up to 154 and wins a belt, and now he is talking an undefeated Berto.

You go on Miguel Cotto, YOU are why I am still a boxing fan despite all the circus sh** going on right now. Round of applause for the man everybody.

                      Fight wont happen.

Cotto is the 3rd biggest payday right now. No way Haymon wastes that with Berto instead of Mayweather.
