Given Williams last performance where he looked lack-luster, Pac stands a better chance at this point than before. Now if that was just a one time thing...don't know. We'll see what happens in his next fight. Sometimes it's just a bad night. And other times, it's a telling sign that you may be on the slide.

I'm not sure it is a good idea to continue to play with your weight which is why, this fight can be passed on if Pac decides to stay at 147.
the imposing physical advantage alone..............is a great challenge.........one solid great performance...........................and bingo..........a career defing win for loss for PAC...................ill give PAC props win or loss rather than this margarito match......

you guys are full of ****! Now Pacman has a live wire challenging him you punks are saying its wrong. He can fight washed up bums all day and you guys are happy. You say things like hes the greatest, but who did he beat that you thought was the best. Because to be the best you have to beat the best. Fighting dead men won't hold up. Sooner or later you will have to prove your the best like Mayweather did against Moesly,Hatton,Marquez,Dieago C., Zab J.,Gotti, and Costillio. They were all champs in there prime on winning streaks. All were rated in the top 10 P4P at the time Mayweather fought them. Pacman has built his entire career off dead men. Now he has a chance to earn his rep. Will he have the balls to fight someone not in his stable, with the skill, power and youth to compete, or will he fight another dead man coming off of a losing streak, Cotto or Margarito. Both are dead men not considered elite anymore, but they still have recognizable names.

Stop running from a real fight Pacman!! ITS TIME TO PROVE All THAT **** ABOUT YOU BEING THE GREATEST!! BACK UP YOUR WORDS PACMAN,
        STOP RUNNINNG

yeah sure we like pac to fight Pwil @154 not 147 so that the dehydrated excuse in not valid.

media: floyd are you gonna fight Pacquiao?
floyd: i will take a vacation, i want to spend time with my family.

i try to ignore *******s and *****s both. it's getting harder and harder on this site but it can be done.

i think williams knows he can't make 147 anymore, and in any case arum won't let pac fight anyone outside of top rank anyway. honestly, most of these guys challenging pac and floyd know they won't get a shot, but they just wanna be part of the conversation, get their names in print for a couple days. i remember there was this alphabet titlist mzonke fana in the superfeatherweight division a couple years ago that was challenging pac, saying "we'd definitely knock pacquiao out!" it was pretty funny cause everyone knew he'd gotten the crap beaten out of him by barrera just a little while back, so he'd probably die from the wind from pac's left hook alone. but he got a couple articles out of the challenge, and then lost his belt to countryman cassius baloyi in some stadium in the middle of nowhere.

williams is probably trying to do the same thing. but he could do better talking about a rematch with martinez or someone in his own division than talking about facing some guy half his height one or two divisions lower, even if he IS a HOFer.. it just looks wrong, man.

hey, HERE'S a brilliant idea. you know how paul williams can become an ATG? how about he moves up to 160 and beats sergio martinez? then how about he moves up to 168 and beats the winner of the super six tourney? then how about he goes up to 175 and beats cloud, dawson, or even bernard hopkins?

you know who else moved up several weight divisions and dominated? manny pacquiao. floyd mayweather. THAT'S how you become great. not by challenging some famous guy 7 inches and one or two divisions smaller than you.

if you look at floyd and pacquiao early in their careers, they were stick thin, but they were winning because they were better than the competition. their physique allowed them to move up weight divisions because they were so skinny to begin with. can't pwill do the same? or is he not good enough?

that's why challenging pac is such a ******, ****** idea. what's he gonna prove? is he gonna get a flock of admirers for beating a guy like manny, who two years ago was fighting at superfeatherweight? truth is he might actually beat manny on his jab alone. but who cares? ****** idea.

                  Pac should fight P.Will.

If he wins, he will take a humongous dump on Floyd's resume.

If he loses, well people will say he jumped one division too many and Williams was just too big.

Pac wins big if he wins, and loses very little if he loses.

Pacquiao-Williams should be getting made right now, but Arum is scum.

No_Celings will be here any minute since this is a PWill conversation. Regardless, PWill needs to get it out of his head. He will NOT get a big money fight at 147. He is far to big and rangy for that weight class for any elite fighter to take him on. After which, he will say everybody at 147 is ducking him. Well DUH!...you have the wing-span of Lennox Lewis and are taller than most HW's...what did you expect?! I like PWill, but he heeds to fight the likes of Martinez, Pavlik, Angulo...etc.

Rofl this is hilarious when it was Floyd who is bigger but not by much then Pac who was getting called out by Williams, "he was a ***** for not taking the fight".

Now that it's different he is too tall... Divisions aren't done by height, if he can make it he is a WW. This fight or Pac vs Berto, Martinez are fights people want to see... not vs Cotto who he beat up or Margs a cheat..
