          Ahahahaha. Lederman had the most incorrect card EVER. Go back and watch the 6th and 7th rounds and you tell me who wins those. Lederman actually has the stones to give those rounds to Jirov. Such a joke. Toney severely outlanded Jirov in BOTH of those rounds in power punches...it wasn't even close.

            Like many of you said, I had the fight really close. Judges were basically dismissing Jirov's body punching efforts. Especially when he stunned Toney. I had the fight 7 rounds to 5 in favor of Toney, and without the knockdown it would have came out even at a draw. When I watched it the second time, I noticed how many punches Jirov landed downstairs, then upstairs. He landed alot of good hook shots on Toney's chin.....but then again, it was hard to tell because Toney has a great chin. Toney landed the better shots though, and fought a mediocre fight compared to what he is capable of. That was not Toney's true best, and I think was Jirov's.

            Toney won the fight because of his accurate punching, and effective agressivness. Jirov put up a hell of a fight, but he was unfortunate to have been knocked down late.

              Fight was close despite the knockdown, and it showed why Toney is about as durable an S.O.B. as you will find in boxing.

                ....Scores were defintely too wide but that last round won it for Toney in my book. Without that 12th round dominance due to the KD I would have probably had it as a draw as well. Toney did impress me because I thought Jirov was making him work so hard that he was running out of gas and was gonna be in trouble. Toney is a skilled fool for sure.

                    Toney certainly won that fight but it was Jirov who made that fight!

                    Doesn't matter who made the fight, Toney looked comfortable the whole fight and Jirov wasn't as effective as his other fights.
                    Toney looked to counter and was very successful as Jirov was slowly down visibly through and hurt several times. Toney threw to the body just as well as Jirov.

                    Jirov didn't not land many clean punchs and few clean "HBO power shots" except to the body. Because of the style Toney uses the punchs land on shoulder or his chest and gloves before hitting the face. Takes away the power of the punch.

                    I still don't agree on the score card. Way off..... You can't get that score for that fight!!

                    Boxing scoring 101

                    Max pts in a fight = 120 12x10=120
                    Jirov Vs. Toney score 117-111
                    6 point lead is 9 rounds to 3 but thats wrong

                    Toney's score =117
                    10x12=120 points total-3=117
                    Toney gets 9 rounds in a close fight is impossible.
                    9x10= 90 + (9x3)=117

                    Jirov's score
                    10x3=30 + (9x9)= 81+20= 111 - 1 knockdown = 110 The score doesn't even add up right.

                    Tie round scenario

                    Toney loses a point and wins 8 rounds
                    8x10= 80 + (4x9) = 116

                    Jirov
                    3x10= 30 + (9x9) = 111- 1KD =110

                    Jirov wins 4 rounds scenario
                    4x10= 40 + (8x9) = 112 -1kd =111
                    Toney gets 8x10= 80 + (4x9) = 116 and 115 if they tie a round

                    People really need to learn how to add score cards. How can you be a judge and not know how to score rounds

                    oldgringo quote

                    "6-4-1 going into the 12th, and 7-4-1 with the KD when all was said and done. "

                    That doesn't add up moron.
                    it's 7-3-1 because of the knock down you lose a point so Toney wins by 4 points. Learn how to add rounds before you post how you score a fight. To think you watch it 10 times and didn't see your GLARRING mistake. I saw it in a split second.

                      Correct way to score

                      Toney
                      8x10 + (4x9) = 116
                      Jirov
                      4x10 + (8x9) = 112 - 1 KD = 111 !!
