your post implies that manny is the one making an offer. Respectfully, manny is the one who will accept an offer. Now, if he fights anyone else besides floyd, he will be making them an offer.

Good article, makes sense!!I didn't know that Manny accepted Floyd's terms on the original prop only to have Floyd add more to it!!I still believe that Floyd really never wanted to fight Pacman, especially after he seen what Pac can do at 147!!Although Floyd should have gained a lot of confidence after beating Mosley as thoroughly as he did!!If Floyd can take Mosley's power,"though barely", my gut instinct is that he can take Pacman's!!Other than both of them banking record #s,this fight will be the biggest fight in boxing history,I know Manny will fight,I just don't see why Floyd wouldn't!!The sad thing is that some people believe Floyd has a sensible reason why,I don't by that ****,"Floyd ur good, elite fighters shouldn't walk away from this type of challenge",peace!!

        So Floyd knew?

What's he trying to prove by not saying anything at all?

It would have been an easier excuse if he did not know

not so sure but what I understand here is that everybody is waiting for Floyd's or his adviser's comment.. anyway, i'll just wait for the next 48 hours or so...

Business could be the reason. I know the easy answer is he's scared. C'mon man. That doesn't sound plausible. The only one scared is Bob because he used to promote floyd.

Remember this, Bob got with floyd from the beginning. He knew how good floyd was/is. he didn't build manny, murad muhammad did. Bob saw manny as a good business investment. Bob knows who the better fighter is.

Just playing devil's advocate, but say Pac vs Cotto II goes ahead and Cotto actually beats Pacquaio. Does Floyd then sit out another year and wait to see how things unfold? Does he then fight Cotto? Fight Pac anyway?

I got a feeling he'd take another sabbatical.

From the very begining,Right when the possibility of this fight came into play,Floyd wanted additional testing,I have not forgotten that!!Pacman has never tested positive for anything before that!!In my opinion Floyd couldn't believe how Manny could perform so well at the higher weights & assumed he was using performance enhancing drugs!!That sounds like he really was hesitant to fight him!!That's the way I see it & my mind won't be changed!!If I was an elite athlete & someone just came out the blue making unwarranted assumptions about me,I'd take offense as well, there was never any reason for Floyd to simply assume Manny couldn't perform that well naturally, period!!

I think bob makes floyd cotto. Why? Biggest fight available for Top Rank and it wont hurt Bob if cotto loses because top rank has juan manuel lopez, who I think is more popular with the PR demographic. Cotto gets his biggest payday by far.

Then Bob can do Cotto Marg because cotto will have the floyd rub.
