fair point. regarding demands, right after the mosley fight floyd told larry merchant the demands. My guess is if the contract didn't have 0 day cutoff then floyd isn't signing anything.

Did Manny not threaten to pull out of the fight over money? Manny did this after the contract was already signed.

Why would PBF come down to 140 to fight Hatton when PBF was at 140 and offered Hatton a fight Hatton and Hatton's team said they weren't ready? So explain why PBF who moved to 147 would come back down to 140 for a fight he already tried to make when he was at that weight.

In my humble opinion, all of these drama in both sides would have been non-existent if not for a weak governing body that is the Nevada Sports Athletic Commission.

Had they established bylaws, rules and regulations that are enforceable, practical and agreeable to begin with - then every policy would have been standardized from drugs, weights/catchweights, negotiations, defending the crown and ultimatums on fights to unify the crown.

The fact that it was left for different camps, different boxers, different promotions and different demands are due to these.

If NSAC really wants to clean up the sport, then a strong-willed group of people dedicated to the sport of pugilism/boxing should be first and foremost, the order of the day.

For a rare occasion to see Floyd Mayweather, Jr and Manny Pacquiao in their caliber as the "Best of the best" in our era is now just a mythical fight that forever be talked about.

No one is to blame....no one more than the NSAC.

                  I rest my case.

Actually he stated the 0 cut off date demand was off the table before the Mosley fight was even signed or being negoiated. I really don't get why some people don't understand why the offer is now off the table. I as fan want the fight to happen and be signed with both parties happy but when it comes to other peoples money I take being a fan out of the equation and look at things like a man working for his livelihood which is what both of these men are doing.

I mean you don't go to a car dealer go back and forth over a price and get a final offer of say $10,000 and walk away with the dealer telling you if you leave the offer is no longer valid. Then you come back months later looking at the same car say ok here is the $10,000 let me get the car. Then look at the dealer strange when he tell you HELL NO that price is no longer available when you knew that months ago.

I just don't get why people can't see this for what it is. I want the fight to but I am not going to knock a man for handling his business outside the ring first.

how hard is it for Floyd to say no because blahh blahh blahhh... then everybody will have a peace of mind knowing that the fight is not happening at all... how hard is it really (to say yes or NO)?

other than he is really a *****...
