Why do you think he didn't look for other options back then? Kinda interesting. Are we really sure Arum is ready to give up his "money-maker" yet?

What I am saying is that Arum has had previous experience where Floyd has walked out of the negotiations and left Arum holding the ball. Example, Margo. ....

As for the guys you mentioned, Arum never experienced what he experienced with Floyd .... and if he did then it may have been different. Still, look at Cotto for example. He went out to visit Cotto recently and had a verbal agreement, from the looks of it. ..... still, if that is Plan B, he still has Plan C even though Arum can trust Cotto.

    It's a business ....

      Same thing happened in January.

They were negotiating and with less then 2 months until his March 13 PPV date Pac couldnt wait anymore and needed to find another opponent.

What do you want Pac to do? Wait as long as possible for Floyd and not have an opponent lined up incase floyd says no?

And how is he giving up his money maker? Pac will still get huge crowds and money with a loss
with a loss pacs stock drops dramatically.

People will then side with floyd and be like, I guess floyd wasnt afraid, it was manny that was afraid.

when in truth its pac and arum.

arums afraid of floyd beating his cash cow, and pacs afraid of needles.

To further add to this, they made 1 million excuses and phobias regarding OST, and were looking for opponents DURING negotiations....the writing is on the wall,do you need glasses?
Oh yea he should have just waited and negotiated another month and got sued by HBO for not being ready by March 13

Just give up with this ducked thing, everyone he needs a back up plan because he has a HBO lined up in advanced and if a fight with Floyd is not made, he needs to have an opponent to fight

Arum has had even more experience where he walked out of negotiations himself. Arum has more experience lowballing a fighter. LOL @ "Arum can trust Cotto". Arum doesn't have to trust anything, Cotto just nods his head. When Cotto was in a position to leave Top Rank, Bob was so nice, wasn't he? Went out and got Miguel the biggest fight he could get, didn't he? If only Miguel remained on board. Contrast that with Mayweather's situation at Top Ranka nd what transpired.

BS DLH lost several times during his prime but still went up in stock.

Isnt that also the reason Floyd doesnt want the fight? It goes both ways in your logic

If your an investor that is guaranteed to make money in 6 months. The first client seems not interested on the deal, you dont hear a word from him since your offer a contract to lock a multi million dollar deal. Would you wait and hope for that client to sign the deal? Although the time is ticking and a multi million dollar deal might not happen? or you can sign a back up deal just incase first one falls through so you can still make money within that specific time frame of 6 months?
Think about that for a sec. It will enlightened you.

What if you can sign that "backup deal" at any time because they are under contract with you?
