Now, you add that they tried to negotiate with Floyd last year and then needed to scramble to get a fight and was left with Clottey. There were other times as well such as when Floyd was supposed to fight Margo and pulled out of that one too.
Plus it's quite possible that the negotiations had stalled at times or that the terms appeared too far to seem that it was possible to even get a deal. We just don't know all the facts/details.
