So then for the good of boxing why not call him on it? Take the damn test. Easy solution.

This issue should have been as big as the $10m weight penalty issue. Meaning, it shouldn't have been an issue at all. This fight should've been made already. I blame the media, personally. I see many are now doing a 180 but it's too late. They gave Manny a pass for his many lies and contradictions and are now wondering why he's taken a mile when given an inch. In the end, the fans lose. All because of a simple test. Who would've thought?
BOY, the MASTER of AVOIDANCE, would
have come up with some other EXCUSE!!!

To AVOID getting his ASS WHIPPED!!!

Fighters were just putting it into the contracts because the commission felt any kind of steroid testing was unnecessary. It took them almost TEN years to start testing and most states still don't test. How sad is that?
I understand that, although I wasn't referring to a jurisdictional commission(based on state regulations) but of a national standard being created. I'm much more concerned with issues like ongoing medical coverage and pensions for retired fighters, that being said OST should be mandatory.

I agree. And I think the national commission or some sort of universal policy is necessary to save the sport. It's getting really, really bad. But until then, fighters have to look out in their own best interests. If I think you're juicing or got the word that you might be, I'm asking for tests as well. Especially in a sport where I get my brain rattled for a living.

There needs to be something in place that serves the well being of all the participants, not just the Oscar De La Hoyas and May/Pacs of the world. If you felt that your physical well being may be in jeopardy then I certainly wouldn't begrudge that request. Although I'd bite your ****ing ear off, since there is no test for that.

cause team mayweather and *****sexuals will just come up with a different reason why floyd can't fight pac (example: taxes, roger going to jail, etc...).

you can't fight someone who unwilling to even come to the negotiation table.

the sport is killing itself, bud. It really is. The corruption is just too much right now. And you can point the finger everywhere. honestly, this may be the only time in my life I pray for the government to intervene lol.
