I thought floyd mayweather said he doesnt watch video's of his opponent. In that case this should be an easy fight for him..
But this may be a good excuse for floyd..
A lot of fighter's don't watch videos of their opponents. They allow or prefer their trainer watch them, and prepare a game plan for the fight. Nothing wrong with that, actually it's quite common. I don't think it has anything to do with a lack of respect for their opponent. We have all seen Mayweather in the crowd at a few of Manny fights, so he knows what he is up against. May the best man win.

Very true. Pernell Whitaker never watched tapes of fighters either.
I'm sorry that's a bull**** reason for Floyd not to foght thsi year especially when his Dad is there incase. That is just an excuse for Floyd to try and justify not taking this fight when he was already talking about not taking this fight for other reasons(to spend time with his charity).
This is bull**** to try and get out of fighting the rest of the year and try and sell the Roger situation as an excuse to the fans.
Only one problem, nobody has heard Floyd say anything about Roger legal situation. Floyd/Ellerbee/Haymon, none of them have said anything about a legal situation keeping this fight from happening. Not that I am aware.

That's all that matters to me. What Arum says means nothing. He doesn't speak for team Mayweather. If the situation was reversed and a member of Mayweather's team made statements regarding what Pacqauio's decisions will be, a lot of these hypocrites with agendas (That believe everything Arum says) would have a different outlook on the situation.
According to Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, the possible sticking point in whether or not Floyd Mayweather Jr. decides to fight in 2010, is Roger Mayweather's upcoming August trial for allegations that he assaulting and choked female boxer Melissa St. Vil last August in Las Vegas. Based on Roger's track record with past assault cases and other criminal charges, there is a good chance that he might do a few months behind bars if convicted in the latest assault case.
translation, we think boxing fans are ****** and we are gonna delay this as long as possible to build hype and curiosity in the general population......
he needs a cracked out bum in his corner to fight to his potential?......hes been fighting at the highest level for over a decade, get real...
