And this is the perfect platform for it. F**K Floyd and Manny on this let's regulate boxing now. Boxing needs better testing and the BS organizations need to be done away with and that includes Ring ratings. Ratings should not be based on popularity and politics. What's done with the sanctioning fees if it's not being spent on better testing and other boxing related issues?

If President ***** doesn't pardon Roger and help make this fight happen in 2010 I will join the Tea Party and try to impeach him.

Unfortunately there is no clear-cut answer on how to approach the formation of a uniformed commission. It's been attempted before, McCain even outlined a proposal on how to do just that, however, it was met with resistance.

HBO and promoters certainly don't want that, because they are afraid of the "threat" of financial regulation as it relates to their cash cows, in Arum's case Pac.

Boxing is so screwed up, that in order for you to earn any real money and receive a title shot, it means paying sanctioning bodies to rank you, then move you closer to a title shot, having to pay these high fees even when you're not earning any real money to begin with. If one person holds all the cards in terms of picking and choosing who they fight irrespective of their mandatories, then some fighters will never get a chance to reap the benefits of the sport, no parity in terms of compensation.

I hate sanctioning bodies like the next guy, but I'm not sure how you approach that part of it because let's face it, young fighters need sanctioning bodies in order to get a ranking, receive television exposure and move them up the boxing ladder in the early stages of their careers, toward their first title shot. Every component of the sport of boxing is little more than self-serving.

floyd sr. is worse. You know he's a piece of **** trainer when he was training hatton vs pac he was working the pads with ricky using orthodox stance instead of the southpaw stance that ricky was gonna be facing that night.

            ****ing ****** ass family.
Doesn't Floyd Sr train Chad Dawson?

Not currently. He did before and I must say that version of Chad Dawson looked great.

Mayweather and his team haven't made any excuses so far. The people on this message board are making excuses. On the other hand, Pac and his team had a dozen excuses for not fighting Mayweather in March. Even if Mayweather decides not to fight, there is no excuse that he will come up with that will be more ridiculous than the 10 excuses Pac's team had for not taking the fight in March.

                    floyd's b*tchassedness knows NO bounds.
Please provide the link where Floyd said he doesn't want to fight because Roger might go to jail. This comment came from Bob Arum, dumbass. It amazes me how idiots on this site can take something that comes from Arum or a internet writer/hater and make it sound like it came directly from Floyd's mouth.

Two different fighters. It wasn't Floyd sr's fault that Hatton couldn't move his head out of the way. He can't get in the ring for him. That has nothing to do with his training. Hatton lost because he was Hatton.
