Please show me where. You're talking nonsense now.

Roger didn't completely take over until after Mayweather was already a world champ. So you're contradicting yourself with this argument.
Oscar fought far better in the first Mosley fight than the second. The reason that the 2nd Mosley fight was close -which the 1st was not, regardless of the phoney Split D- was because of Mosley, who didn't fight with a real plan, and allowed Oscar to get a big lead on him.

However Mosley then began to target Oscar's body, with sickening punches, and scored a narrow but deserved UD. I was even sorry for Oscar during that fight because every time Mosley's righ fist thudded into Oscar's body he winced, and kept bending over lower and lower, to try to protect hiself. Oscar has always been weak in the body which was the reason for his "chest" protector fitting so that it kept inching upwards.

Mosley hit on the body attack just at the right time.

And, if I misspelled some of those words my bad. I am not real good in writing in Spanish.

If I want to see Pac and May fight I want to see them at their best, with their preferred trainers.
I think the comfort issue is a big thing, all though i also belive that Roger is a very capable trainer. Maybe Jessie Vargas' progress will be able to provide a better gauge of his ability as a trainer.

I gained a lot of respect for Roger in the Mosley fight. After the second round when things were looking not so good for Mayweather and I, as a Mayweather fan, was extremely nervous, Roger simply repeated "you beat him easy when you box him" and continued to act as if nothing had gone wrong. Meanwhile Ellerbe looked as if he had just seen a ghost and Garcia had something to do for the first time in his partnership with Floyd.

Sorry I couldnt find a video on the tube with audio but you will get the picture, mainly posted it just for Ellerbe's facials =]

Roger is excellent in the corner. Really is. The first time it jumped out was the Judah fight. He is patient, loud when he needs to be, allows his fighter time to catch his breath and is very lucid (surprisingly) in giving instructions.

no you didnt. sorry. i laid out a lot of criteria why sr. is not a great trainer & you respond with that's just one criteria & he has the support of his peers. You never stated your reasons why sr. is a great trainer.

why do older users have this sense of smugness about them?

As is your consistent lack of context when citing your own examples. Floyd was preternaturally gifted, as a teenager he possessed physical gifts that went unmatched with respect to his peers.

His father taught him to box and gets credit for that, chances are high that he would have been great with any coach, based on his god given abilities. As Floyd as has stated repeatedly, some fighters are taught/coached to become great fighters, but what he possesses is god-given, these are his own words not mine, his own words support my contention.
