though i disagree with your beliefs i support and encourage your right to share those thoughts and ideals with like minded hillbillys -
dumb floyd fans, freedom of speech is allowed, the government wont put you in jail for it. But the accused have their right to defend themselves. Its no suprise you guys cant distinguish the two.
look up McCarthyism and the consequences that followed itComment

america knows. thats why there this country has justice system to know if SR has just expressing his right for free speech.Since when did voicing your opinion become a crime? I thought this was America, land of the freedom and liberty? what happened to that? They asked Floyd Sr what he tought about Manny and he spoke his mind, PERIOD. He felt that a man moving up from 135 to 147 in 6 months was impossible and keeping your speed, increasing power, while being lean was just unheard of. Rather you like it or not thats Floyds father and his son is the one fighting or going to fight Manny so he has every right as a trainer to speak out on how he feels about a fighter.
Manny still went on to win FOTD and numerous awards, he is still rated P4P and hasnt had any titles stripped. His fan base is still the same and he is still in the run for the biggest payday of his life. So when did these "opinions" damage Mannys character?
Manny is the only athlete in any sport who can refuse a blood test, sue people that suspect him of cheating and still be considered clean. ANy body that goes through the trouble and jump through loops of fire is hidding something. And its only a matter of time before his dirty draws are shown to the world. If he was indeed juicing and has agreed to test which means he will be clean (system should be clean since he has waited so long to agree to terms) he is in a world of TROUBLE.....in the words of FLoyd Sr...BAD NEWS!!!! BAD NEWS GOT CHA BOY!
if he will be find guilty, so be it. if not then thats justice for his right.Comment

floyd mayweather sr. is a name in boxing, like it or not.
if he speaks, people will listen (atleast the ******ed ones)
his so called "opinion" is very damaging, and considering the fact that his basis on it is manny wiping the floor with someone he trains, its pretty pathetic.Comment

What utter nonsense.
Security IS NEEDED FOR FREEDOM TO EXIST.
Abuse of freedom actually takes away freedom. Free speech is a great freedom indeed and many have fought and died to maintain it.
But abuse of such freedom can take away an innocent person's freedom as well.
For example, if a woman frivolously accuses a man of raping her 14 year old daughter just because he looked at her in a way she didn't like, it could ruin an innocent person's life.
Sure, the man might win the case, but his name will forever be sullied and he would have most likely spent thousands of dollars defending himself and it could possibly ruin his marriage, cause him to lose his job, etc.
All it takes is a few careless words from a woman's mouth, and it could destroy a person's life.
Freedom of speech is a double edged sword. Those who focus ONLY ON THE RIGHTS AND IGNORE THE RESPONSIBILITIES THAT COME WITH THOSE RIGHTS, would very likely hurt themselves, or worse, those close to them.Comment
