There is NOTHING wrong with Floyd facing Martinez at a catch weight.

Will you criticize Floyd for making Hatton fight at 147?
Or is it "different" when it comes to Floyd? Am I about to see fight nights weights and all that jazz because its "different" when it comes to Floyd?
in the end having any champ be restricted and then fight for their title is wrong
it was wrong when Oscar did it to BHop
it was wrong when Manny did it to Cotto
and it would be wrong if Mayweather did it to Martinez
regardless of how comfortable anyone thinks Martinez is at making 154Comment

technically, pullcounter is right, Manny didn't ask for 145, but Bob made cotto fight at 145. The real question is why didn't pac fight for the 147 lb WBO champioship at 147 lbs.Comment

I know you arent pointing this at me but I did openly criticize Floyd for making a lightweight come to welter to fight THEN ignoring the catchweight
well this would hold water if Hatton didn't openly admit to wanting to campaign at 147 then have a fight there to boot
I agree I think the true fans and the ones who only see things that benefit have just separated their selves

Simple. Easy to understand!Comment

if floyd thinks that martinez waived that right, martinez can easily just tell floyd the fight aint happening cause the fight isnt signed, every fighter changes their mind during negotiations and that means martinez will not be plan b for floyd if floyd thinks martinez cant negotiate on the right to stay at 160(no way did he wave the right to fight at 160, my opinionComment
