Kind of a bad example to use Bernard Hopkins being that Hopkins nearly won the fight and if it wasn't for his stamina, being old which contributed to giving some of the later rounds away. I mean if Hopkins was more active in the later rounds he would have won the fight.

So using that example, you have a young in his prime Ward who wouldn't gas at the end of the fight.

It's not that far of a stretch to say Ward beats the Calzaghe that fought hopkins.
