Fist size = power?

i think there are different types of power.. someone skinny who does more of a momentum swing like julian jackson or paul williams could benefit from heavier hands.. but someone like james toney puts all his bodyweight behind it squarely and his hands could be the size of a baseball and it would still fuck **** up. this is just my theory

If you got 2 guys with the exact same speed, technique, etc.-- then ya you can use your physics equations-- the guy with the bigger fist WILL hit harder.

But more often than not there's a ****load of other variables, hence why one cannot determine who is the more powerful puncher based soley on looks (size of the fist).

i know someone will bring up lucian bute, but i think that has mroe to do with beautifully countered bodyshots than real ko power

energy = mass and speed

kinetic energy=1/2*mass*(speed)^2

Whoever the people are saying big fists would be more powerful and dismissing my arguments without any factual basis are ******... smaller surface area means more power... and people saying about bone density on bigger fists??? the smaller something is the more compact and dense it will be... honestly guys ask any martial artist and they will all say the same thing... you only have to tap urself in the jawbone to find out... first use your whole fist, make sure every finger makes contact with ur jaw... now same power do it but only make contact with your middle knuckle, which hurts more?

punching power has alot to do with snap transfer of kenetic energy.
when you snap your hand back as fast as you threw it.timing and
catching your opponent in rotation creates the one punch ko......
