In Boxing with boxing gloves the size of fist isn't much of a factor..

The size of the fist differs really... I would rather have a bigger fist hit me in the jaw than a smaller one, and a smaller fist than a bigger to hit me in the body.

The target of the chin is smaller so the force of the smaller fist will have more meaningful impact and my body is bigger so the distribution of a bigger fist would have more impact.

    Then again Its my opinion.

gloves don't matter. the shape of the glove is the shape of the first, you have the wrist and then the forward-facing part of the knuckle to strike with. If you can't punch without gloves you can't punch with gloves

big isnt the right word. its more than size

a more stout sturdy fist that won't break on you is an advantage.

Punching power = speed, mass and technique.

Swear you must have never boxed?

Liston had hugest fists ever, great KO guy.

Some boxing trainers will say if your fists are too small, it will be a problem.

Hold a brick behind a pillow, wack a door handle.
Now find something half the size (same weight) and try wack that door handle.

It's a lot easiesr to connect with bigger fists, even if your gloves are both 10 ounces, the man with the biggest fist inside will more likely do the damage.

Some part of physics such as pressure, area of contact don't apply, because a bigger fist won't hit every damn part of his fist, the connection, and damage over 12 rounds is what makes it a factor.
