Would Ali have stayed undefeated if he faced the same opposition as Wlad?

I think he also had a longer reach.

I would endorse everything you have said.

Someone has commented that WK used his height and reach against Sanders, with the implication that it did him no good at all. To this I say, tht Sanders used his punch and head, which, together were lethal, and would have knocked down anybody.

Someone also pointed out that Sanders was very "twitchy", this being regarded as a decided advantage for him, againt the "robotic" movements of WK. My retort to this, is that Mosley's recent fight against Mayweather showed how "twitchy" Mosley was, and this was not an advantage, but a decided detriment.

So, who is right or is the above only sophistical argument?

As for the "robotic" this term was not usually applied to WK until recently by a few writers, it was applied from the first to his brother VK. He was also likened to an operating derrick or angular piece of machinery.

Yet in his fight against Arreola, I don't believe I've ever seen a more consumate display of pure boxing, combined with excellent footwork....

He'd be undefeated and would have beat all those chumps in much more exciting fashion!

Wlad can't knock out ALi with his right hand. Shavers landed his right hand flush, but didn't knock Ali out. He then proceeded to land multiple bombs and ALi took them.

9:45 - you can clearly hear that "culp"/"tholp" sound.

Wlad would never "easily" knock Ali as Ali was never knocked out. This is not Chris Byrd or Eddie Chambers we're talking about.

Wlad may have been able to give Ali trouble. Ali is not the unbeatable GOD people make him out to be, and Wladimir is not a **** fighter.

Big men like Wlad who can box and who put punches together like him did not exist back then. Guys his size were more like side show freaks rather than boxers.
