long reach doesn't mean anything when you're up against the fastest heavyweight of all time.

Watch Ali vs Earnie Terrel on youtube in HD and you'll get a good picture of what the fight would look like:

Wlad also used his height and reach against corrie sanders:

Ali wouldn't need to outbox Wlad, one shot and Wlad's in trouble.

      Ali is too elusive.

Wlad doesn't do well against the elusive type.

Ali would box circles around Wlad, Wlad can't even cut off a a ring with his weak footwork so how is he going to handle Ali's movement?

wladimir has the same problems, the only difference is that wladimir punches harder than norton.

Ali takes them both to school and if you believe otherwise then I'm sorry but you are probably European and have a bias to fighters from your side of the world.

Neither Klitschko is worthy being mentioned in the same breath as The Great Ali.
I know that Ali had far better footwork, speed, reflexes and his chin was granite. Wlad only has advantages in power and in his height and reach.

How would Ali-Wlad look like to you? Wlad is covering up. Ali is dancing and jabbing... but Ali wouldnt be hitting anything because he never goes to the body. Wlad just stays covered up. And if they do exchange I can see Wlad outjabbing Ali. Ali does have speed advantage though.

I don't think you've seen how sharp and twitchy Ali's reflexes were.

I agree that speed kills and can neutralize reach advantages. But its still not gonna be a walkover for Ali. And that Corrie Sanders loss was pre-Steward.

Ali was a master of illusion and would have little trouble creating openings that the average fighter wouldn't be able to uncover. I would be shocked to see Wlad land many jabs on Ali, as he was as elusive as they come, and it's going to take much more than a jab to hurt him.

The hardest puncher of all time is George Foreman and he slapped Ali around like a pimp and Ali took it with a smile (literally) and eventually knocked him out.

Wlad stands 0 chance against Ali - that's how I see the fight going. Once Wlad gets ready to throw that robotic jab Ali has seen the opening and is preparing to lay him out.

                  Ali by KO.

BTW earnie terrel was 6'6'', that's why I've made the comparison to that particular fight.

Ali would figure out wlad's robotic punch patterns in two rounds.

Sonny Liston had a better more powerful jab than either Klit and we all remember how Ali dealt with him.
