Would Ali have stayed undefeated if he faced the same opposition as Wlad?

As I suspected: Not 1 counter-fact, instead insults. Typical for CLAYtons.

Byrd would have probably given Ali some problems. Done enough to make it close on the scorecards I think. The Sanders that beat Wlad might give Ali a scare in the early rounds, before he gasdes out and get stopped. Still it's hard to say how long he would have lasted with Wlad had the fight not been over so quickly. It was one of the few times he trained seriously for a fight. Could see Chagaev and Ibragimov winning a few rounds against Ali with their speed and technique. They were by no means shabby fighters when Wlad fought them. Ultimately a little too feather fisty to do more than that though. Can see the younger motivated Sam Peter landing a few big overhands to Ali's chin but getting outboxed.

Ali would have more than likely won against all of the fighters that Wlad fought, but the question I'd like to ask is would he have won as many rounds? Ali lost or gave away rounds to many lesser fighters than the top guys Wlad faced. It's not inconceivable he would have done so here.

Finally someone who at least tries to make an analysis based on real-world-performances and not based on "Mythical Ali vs Fantasy Bum".

Wlad isn't that much longer than Ali. Ali had an 80'' reach, Wlad's can't be much longer than that.

Ali never faced a hard hitting southpaw. And Buster Mathis (the only comparable weightwise to Sam Peter) came from a near-3-year layoff after a defeat. Ali faced only 2x opponents as heavy as Brewster or heavier): Ali couldn't KO both of them.

Wlad's height would mean his shoulders were approximately level to Ali's jaw whilst Ali would have needed to punch up to reach Wlad. That takes a bit off his reach as well as the power.

Liston had a longer reach than Wlad. Anyway i dont see anyone that Wlad has faced beating Ali.
