Just a question, what makes you think that I'm a die-hard Pac fan, as opposed to taking a reasonable approach to wanting this fight to get made? I could just as easily paint you as a Floyd fan and say that you come to the table with an already predetermined POV.

By the way if you end a statement with a "boxing" emoticon, is that supposed to signify something, other than you're probably in community college?
2007 member vs 2008 member. I knw who is who around here. Weasle free zone!

I'm a huge PBF who regularly calls him out on his BS. Play with that one if u must.

I thought he only fought for legacy, honor, and his people? Apparently he needs an extra 10% or he wont be able to defeat the next hurricane.
that's true. it would be more than he's ever made.

If he did, please pass that link on to me. By the way, he offered Shane a fight in 2006 and in 1999. Shane turned it down both times!!!! Also, please tell me when Pac offered to fight P-Will and the currrent version of Shane Mosley?
How long has Pac has been at welterweight?

How long Mayweather has been at welterweight?

Now compare the length of time each fighter has been at that weight and who they have fought.

Within a year and half you go from Cotto to Clottey...in what amounts to you first real year participating in a new weight class, you face top 5 ranked opposition.

In Floyd's first year at welterweight who did he face? Sharmbe Mitchell and who else? Then look at the names after that... compare those fighters to Cotto and Clottey only in terms of ability, regardless of who held a title (Baldomir), remember Floyd doesn't fight for titles...words out of his own mouth.

            • 60-40 split?

              Not in this chitty economy!

              I agree with 40-40 + 20 for winner or 45-45 + 10 for winner.

But damn, this fight should be made.

For a guy who perceives himself as intelligent and appears to try and act "witty", you misspelled "Weasel"....Good Luck Chuck, if I were you I would call up Phoenix Online University and get your back money back. Even when you make attempts, they're poorly designed.

                  oh I don't know.

maybe it's because I went back an entire 6 pages before I found one thread where you DIDN'T talk about Pacquiao and that alone was for Wladimir sticking to his guns and letting the commissions do the test, an aspect that many of Manny's own fans supported for Manny.

way back in May. the 25th to be exact

                  lol cmon now

Anyway, Pac will have to fight someone else because I dont think he can accept anything less than 50%. His got an ego too. And if the PPV buys closely reach the 1.4 Million (say 1.2 or 1.3) that Floyd/Mosley made, then the pressure is back on Floyd to get another 1 Million plus buys. But you have to consider that the fighters Floyd need to fight to get that type of revenue is with Top Rank. The fighters that would make a good B side for Floyd is not with Golden Boy. There is not much money that can be made in fighting guys like Berto or Martinez..
The only other fighter in the world at any level, other than Mayweather and Pacquaio, capable of generating a significant amount of PPV (more than 200,000) right now is Cotto, but he has lost some of his stature and would have to have a big name just to generate the 200,000 that I mentioned. If Cotto fights a rematch with Pac, I doubt it would generate 1 million PPVs. So Pac can fight whoever he wants, but he won't have those large numbers ( 1 million plus PPV) that you are talking about. In Floyd's case, he can generate a really large number only if he fights Cotto. Otherwise, he won't top 1 million either with any other fighter.
