Of course money is a big part of why he fights, but the difference between him and PBF is that it isn't the sole reason why he fights. I don't know how many times PBF has claimed that he only fights for "checks" while the other guy has tried to please not only his fans, but boxing fans in general, whenever he fights.

Instead he fought Clottey and will likely end up fighting Margarito if the Mayweather deal falls through. How the hell is he trying to please his fans with this behavior? He is fighting for money and money only. He acts like Oscar De La Hoya and pretends like he gives a damn about the fans, but anyone with any sense can see through that facade. Pac has the WBO belt, which he won at a catchweight. Mayweather doesnt' have the WBA belt because he didn't want to pay a sanctioning fee when he fought Mosley. What the hell do belts have to do with anything, or are you really that naieve? Also, Pac hasn't agreed to anything. He didn't agree to terms in March and he apparently hasn't agreed to terms now or the fight would be signed by now.

Excellent point. Mayweather is in it for the money. He has made that clear. Did Mayweather ever say that he was fighting to please his fans as Pac did? If he did, please pass that link on to me. By the way, he offered Shane a fight in 2006 and in 1999. Shane turned it down both times!!!! Also, please tell me when Pac offered to fight P-Will and the currrent version of Shane Mosley?

Floyd will tell you straight up that he fights for money, the question is, why is the so called people's champion complaining about 40% when it will be more than he has made his entire career?
