Now i dont know it all by any means, but i know enough to know when i post about something its somethin i have faith in in terms of knowledge.

I made that post about Wilde/Villa after reading a book on Wilde and the account of where his life was at when he fought Villa. Not to mention resume wise, one of Villas biggest wins is Wilde.

Either way, Baracuda comes across like a Sarah Palin to me, just sayin **** for the sake of saying it with empty stances and no substance at all with little to no argument other than red herrings and logical fallacies.

And as far as him not showing up on that radio show thing, that was ****in pathetic period, dude fronted on me like cinderella with the glass shoes on.

Well to his luck, historians (who fit into this thread's point) consider Jimmy Wilde as an ATG, but at their time Pancho was highly touted to beat him, twas Pac-Floyd in the 1920's, where it appeared that Pancho got the backing of american fans to beat Wilde.

because unlike others people's claims of what are facts....there is no lying with the fact that villa beat wilde.....no sense of going deeper into it now!

Yes, Villa did beat Wilde. But if you're going to talk about a fantasy match up of them prime for prime that certain things have to be looked at. We can't just say Villa wins because he beat a guy who was off for two years. That said, you don't need film to establish the facts of the era or the fighter.

Baracuda has beef with El Jesus, that's all. El Jesus called him out once on Burner's show and Baracuda was a no-show. And I don't need to read no history books or newspapers for that, because I was there when El Jesus called him out in a thread and the actual show. Lol.

I appreciate the history, but Im not interested in anyone else's e-beefs, I got enough of my own. I got no problem with Baracuda or El J whether I disagree with them on certain things or not. Thanks for the heads up though.

Don't confuse our differences about Floyd and Manny with lack of respect for you as a poster. We happen to strongly disagree on that, yes. But I respect your knowledge of the sport and ability to convey your thoughts on different topics.

Unless you are like 90 years old I don't see how any of you could have a credible top 100 ATG fighters list, and the fact that so many of you seem to and try to pin point fighters on them is laughable.

The only way a younger person should or could have 1 of any merit is if maybe you watched, scored, and stringently analyzed 10 more of the most important fights that hundreds maybe over a thousand of the greatest fighters in boxing history have had.

The amount of fight you would have to watch should be at the very least tens of thousands of fights. Some of which are not even the easiest to come by and would take so much time to accurately go through that if you were young when you started you most likely would not be once you went through all of this data and pin pointed on a basis consisting of some recognizable criteria where someone should be exactly on a 100 greatest fighters list and who should be there at all.

I mean I could see Bert Sugar having one because he is a dinosaur and was born probably before boxing was invented so he has seen them all live and too.
