    Give me break

this is the million dollar question that everybody keep over looking.. why all of sudden manny is willing to take a drug test up until 14 days before the fight now.. Mayweather gave you the option the first time and you turn down 40 million dollars to fight for 4 million.. Now all of sudden u want to take the test.. And for the people that said manny pacman has past all of his drug test you right he has past all of his urine drug test not blood.. but not all steriods can be found in urine.. shane mosley is proof of that..

      this.^^^

but you know some dumbass ******* is going to say "leverage." or something

pac did it to keep the upperhand in nego. haha.

so that means pac has given up leverage now, which he has, but of course, the *******s will find another dumbass way to TRY and spin it

I hope this cotto thing is just talk, why would he rematch a guy who he beat the crap out of easily?? If it came to it id much prefer pac v bradley or someone good at 140. Hopefully floyd and pac can come to an agreement but im not holding my breath, im not optimistic of that fight happening. If it doesnt happen boxing will suffer imo, it will be a disaster no less

They just need to sign this fight already.
So the winner can get on with it .its one
fight its not like they go to the electric chair
after it.just get it signed.right now it looks like there
afraid of a fight they dont know they will win?
Thats not a real fighter .its being over managed.

Manny Pacquiao loses to Floyd Mayweather Jr. but wouldn't be surprise if Manny Pacquiao beats Floyd Mayweather Jr. Manny Pacquiao destroys Miguel Cotto in a rematch. Sorry Emmanuel Stewart Cotto does look a little better still not enough for Manny Pacquiao.

                  @sapo#1

Morales at his prime beat Manny in their first fight. Then Manny knocked him out twice with just brute strength and endurance..even though he still had inferior footwork and balance.

But against Oscar, a weight-drained Oscar should have at least won some early rounds. But it wasn't even a contest. Manny was a complete fighter! And how do you fault Manny for Oscar's bad preparation anyway?? Also, Oscar was 35, not 36!!

Ricky was the linear champ before Bradley!! He owned that division. Ricky gained weight before all his fights and it never affected him! It was Manny's first fight at 140.

Cotto was just beginning his downside but he was far far from a shot fighter!

If Manny just beat these guys by boring unanimous decisions or by controversial decisions, then he would not deserve all the accolades. But to Manny's credit, it was THE WAY he beat these guys!! Going into each fight as the smaller man and knocking them out in entertaining fashion!

Your pride may not wanna believe that, but these are facts!!

Now, almost 6 months later he accepted the 14-day cutoff after Mayweather had said several times the offer was off the table.

                    So.. Check your facts.
Never mind checking the facts, I would check your comprehension level. Refusing a cutoff date is not the same as refusing the test entirely, in other words, Manny did not refuse the test, just the cut off date. If you honestly don't understand this simple logic and explanation, then you shouldn't even bother trying to argue about this issue. Regardless, now that Manny has agreed to the 14 day cutoff date, so what's the problem.

This is the biggest fight of this era. Fighters (in this case Pacquiao) should not let their egos get in the way.
The fact that you think Pacquiaos ego is the only one to blame in this situation is telling that you are completely bias in this matter.

Come on, people who are being realistic know that the original negotiations probably went something like this-
(Insert Egos) Back and forth banter -

GBP: "We want Mayweathers name first on all promotional stuff." (ie: Mayweather vs Pacquiao)

Top Rank: "O.K. then, we want (xx) size gloves and (xx) size ring."

GBP: "O.K. then we want it in Vegas and a 60/40 split on all the revenue"

Top Rank: "O.K., you can have Vegas, but we want a 50/50 split and a $10 million dollar penalty for every pound over the agreed weight!"

GBP: "Oh yea!?! O.K. then, we'll give you 50/50 and the weight penalty, but we want Olympic style drug testing!"

Top Rank: "O.K. Manny will do 3 blood tests - one after the press conference, one 30 days prior to fight, and one directly after the fight."

GBP: "No, we want USADA and no cut off dates."

                      Top Rank: "*** you!"

                      GBP: "No, *** you!"

Obviously, NONE of us were in that room... but if ya'll can't see that EGO (on both sides) was a very good possibility why negotiations failed the first time around, then you are probably just too biased towards one fighter.
On a side note - I personally believe that it was probably more of Bob Arums ego than anyone else, but I'm also realistic enough to know that it takes two to tango...
