No, it began with fighters in the late 1980's. Then the commissions implemented it for certain championship bouts. Not all commissions went along and most still don't test for squat. But it took a span of years for the testing to spread out.

And there is nothing wrong with that I'm not saying it's wrong to have better drug tests. I'm just saying the commissions should be the one's to enforce it not fighters.

And it STILL took a decade for the commissions to implement it after that! So yes, we want it for all but it always starts on a smaller scale. I'm fine with fighters agreeing to do it in their fights but when a fighter declines you cant use at as a means to assasinate their character either. It's not a rule, it's not a requirement, and that opinion in no way means that im against better testing. It just means that fighters are gonna have to deal with not getting their their way sometimes.

You were missing my point. *****s have always maintained that this was always about cleaning up the sport and yours and other peoples comments have shown to me that it never was about cleaning up the sport ever. It was always just about Floyd getting his way thru the use of contraversy and character assasination. Thanks for proving that for me!!!

Actually Floyd maintained it was about cleaning up the sport. In reality, he believes manny is cheating, he can't say that straight out because Manny would have the ammunition he needs for his defamation suit, which would not be necessary if he just agreed to the testing in the first place. Personally I've always thought Manny was clean until without good reason he turns down a multi-million dollar fight because of a more thorough drug testing protocol. It su****ious to me.

So the real ones putting their asses on the line (the fighters) should sit and wait for the corrupt ass commissions to implement better testing? I agree. Perhaps if Pacquiao, for instance, had declined then things might've been seen different. But by trying to compromise the testing, asking for dates, making weird excuses...yeah, that'll raise eyebrows. That's just how it goes.
