Prospects, journeyman, and up and comers don't have get the level playing field that top tier boxers like Floyd would get. If we are gonna seriously discuss implimenting it full time then every one needs to be able to take advantage of it or else it's not a viable option. Now if both fighters agree to it thats fine to but nobody should be "forced" into using it unless everyone is "forced " into doing it.

That's funny, seeing as how that's how steroid tests in boxing began in the first place.Comment

what???
it's up to the promoters to pay for the OST.....not the fighters.
floyd is not "making up rules," he's requesting a stipulation in a contract, just like fighters do when they request catchweights. floyd having an unfair advantage b/c he requests OST's?
you're right about 1 thing tho, other fighters are free to decline OST's, and the public is free to draw their own conclusions as to WHY.
You were missing my point. *****s have always maintained that this was always about cleaning up the sport and yours and other peoples comments have shown to me that it never was about cleaning up the sport ever. It was always just about Floyd getting his way thru the use of contraversy and character assasination. Thanks for proving that for me!!!Comment

No, it began with fighters in the late 1980's. Then the commissions implemented it for certain championship bouts. Not all commissions went along and most still don't test for squat. But it took a span of years for the testing to spread out.Comment

actually I know where you are with this and I can agree. I have long stated that PED usage is for the haves not the have nots and the testing is also of that noteProspects, journeyman, and up and comers don't have get the level playing field that top tier boxers like Floyd would get.
