Not to mention was an amateur legend that was ktfo'ing guys with huge gloves and headgear on.

I'm being a little hard on Zab, it's just that he's turned out to be so overrated due to his unprofessionalism (not preparing properly for fights), lack of focus, and poor stamina. Being in videos and thought of as "cool" by rappers does not make one an elite fighter.
    Thanks for the crash course.....

Everyone is entitled to be a ass towards one fighter or another....its our right as fans....and agreed regarding "cool"....cool definately does not = elite.

No, No, No... I'm LAUGHING at the person who said Williams ran to WW to escape a Cintron rematch.

That's laughable to me because it's completely false and only a dimwitted boxing fan would even think of something as ****** as that.

Williams has already proven he'll fight anybody, anywhere and anytime. He'd fight Wladmir and Vitali on back to back weekends if he had to.

Zab just never took his boxing career as seriously as he should have. Word on the street is he's a clubber that likes to get his drink on. The fact that he even made it to an elite level of boxing is a miracle.

Zab boils down to 3 word for me : lack of discipline (training, fighting, lifestyle you name it he lacks discipline)

I don't think for the most part, Judah was a lazy trainer. He may have underestimated Baldomir and didn't prepare for him like he should have, maybe for Pineda too, but for the bigger fights, I think he was always in top shape. Tszyu, Mayweather, Cotto, Spinks, even Clottey when he was pretty damn light.

He just wasn't able to make the best use of his immense athleticism. His chin isn't too good, and he's not the most mentally tough. Not in the sense that he's a guy who just quits, but he loses focus during fights, and when he gets hit with good shots, he can go into a shell and look to survive and hope to land one bomb. It also would've probably been better to have an experienced trainer in boxing like Lou Duva staying his corner rather than to have his father, who was experienced in another fighting sport.

Simply being in a couple music videos isn't really relevant, really, how long were the shoots? Winky was more involved in the music biz and that didn't seem to affect him. Pacquiao sings and acts but look at how well he's doing.

Judah doesnt have the right trainer, He could get away with anything while training with his dad and the indiscipline creeps in and stays there for years. Even with all the talent it can only take you far.
