Wasn't that the point? Steward and Cotto's goal was to bring his skills back to what they used to be and break recently developed bad habits, like crouching down, etc. Cotto said himself to Kellerman "you will see the old Miguel Cotto tonight".

Cotto is not past it. He is just the same fighter he's always been. He still crouched down against Foreman in a bent over posture which makes him vulnerable for uppercuts. And we still need to see someone stand there and punch him in the mouth. And he will run whenever anybody puts the heat on him.

Anybody that struggles with Clottey is a mediocre fighter. Say what you want about the cuts. He still ran like a girl. Paul Williams was willing to go to war with Sergio Martinez and he was cut as bad as Cotto. Tired of the excuses from Cotto stans.

Margarito pretty much beat Clottey the same way Pac did but lost a few rounds. Cotto ran from him for the last six rounds and Clottey is not even a big puncher. Lol.

Why were they looking for changes when neither Steward or Cotto said thats what they were trying to do?
By all accounts Manny hardly worked with Cotto on anything but balance and balance alone will not change a fighters style in the ring.
I saw the same Cotto as i did in November, its just the guy opposite changed and Foreman is no Pacquiao.

Clottey beat the **** out of Cotto with the same kind of injury Foreman had. What's your point?

I thought so too oc... I think if Clottey had not hurt his hand that he would (or should) have won that fight. Clottey is his own worst enemy most of the time.

That was a close fight that could have gone either way. Cotto did run at times. Clottey gave the fight away and in no way did he "beat the **** out of Cotto". Unless you count the two headbutts, which caused two cuts on the same eye that eventually combined and caused one of the biggest cuts I've ever seen. And his knee injury was no where near as bad as Foreman's.
