I'll say this jones is the greatest fighter of the past 20yrs hands down.
Yes, that is exactly what I am doing. I am comparing Roy to other elite fighters of his era

When Floyd retires I might rank Floyd ahead of Roy. I rank Whitaker ahead of Roy also. I rank JCC ahead of Roy also. Those are fighters in the last 20 years. Whitaker is the greatest fighters in the last 20 years hands down period.

        Watch Whitaker greatness.

I would give Ezzard Charles a good chance against him at 175 as well.

At 160 I'd give Carlos Monzon and Hagler a shot at him, that's all though.

              I don't know where I'd rank him but Top 25 doesn't sound insane...I think he's deff in a top 50 ATG list...

How is that? jones never been the same since he came down from HW. Jones version of Tarver I is no better than the tarverIII version, the only diff is that in the 1st fight jones was determined to win and not afraid to let his hands go. In the 3rd fight he was better physically, but messed up mentally after the back to back KOs.

I'm not saying that jones won the 3rd fight, all i'm saying is that version of roy would've beaten tarver if he had let his hands go. He proved it in the 5th round.
