When Floyd retires I might rank Floyd ahead of Roy. I rank Whitaker ahead of Roy also. I rank JCC ahead of Roy also. Those are fighters in the last 20 years. Whitaker is the greatest fighters in the last 20 years hands down period.

Beside his perfect record, floyd is no comparison to roy. Roy beat a better oppistion and has more accomplishment than floyd.

Yea Tarver suffering a broken jaw against Harding not good. Agree about when they were in the middle of tthe ring. Speaking of Harding, Eric was having success against Roy also though. He was giving Roy fits until he suffered the bicep injury. But, I guess we will agree to disagree in this matter.

Yeah I saw Monzon on many top 15 lists. I have also seen several of his fights on ESPN classics and I saw the one where he beat Nino Benvenuti. He beat him pretty bad even retired him.

That must have been the return-second fight. Benvenuti was just about finished by then. In his day he was a very good fighter, an alltime great, with an excellent record. Italy was producing some very good boxers t that time. Duilio Loi was another, should be an all time great, super record, fought and beat Carlos Ortiz, also lost to him. You could see him revving up his engine for the last few rounds, especially if he thought it was close. He only lost a couple of fights in over a 100 contests..
