theres a difference between someone being 49 and someone being 39 most of the people who keep mentioning prime only last till your about 28, well something very early like that anyways, that means we should forget about what fighters have done when they're 28+ then

Most talented fighter Ive ever seen, but Im not a historian. I watch boxing every opportunity I get but I don't have a personal top 25 ATG list. I do know his resume is lacking compared to fighters like Duran and the like.

Probably no in my book, but I bet had you asked this question after the Ruiz win the people saying no would probably say yes.

It probably does belong in the history section. But, is not like every poster in NSB is a complete boxing noob. Believe it or not they're people on here who know the sport. I know it might sound like an oxymoron but is true.

Anyways you're very knowledgeable. I seen your work in the history section. So I respect your opinion. What is your opinion about this subject?

                  Floyd is more talented.

That is true, I remember a lot of people were saying top 10 after he beat Ruiz. But, that is the type of hype you get after a dominating win over a top fighter. I remember me and a lot of other people ranking Tito really really high after he destroyed Joppy. Pac beat Cotto and people were saying greatest southpaw of all time, top 5 ATG. Floyd beat Shane, people are saying the smartest most skillful fighter of all time. I mean is all hype after a big win.

Yep that means that also means that they hold the losses he had after like 50 pro fights against him which is not fair at all. At 35 years old no fighter is prime. Chavez got beaten by DLH at 32. Several ATG's were getting KTFO at 32 so it's not fair to treat Jones differently and add the losses he had after 34 years old and 50 fights to his ATG consideration.
