I found some of the arguments bert sugar used quite strange. I am assuming he has watched the cleveland williams fight because in that fight ALi knocked Cleveland williams down going backwards. Bear in mind Ali wasn't a puncher.

The guy sitting next to bert sugar was just a tool.

what a joke.. it was more about fame than ability and achievements. i mean seriously tyson at 16, dempsey at 5 and marciano at 4?

how many HWs were there? they took all the top HWs and squeezed them into the top 20, or almost all the top HWs i should say. how the hell did they overlook ezzard charles just to name one fighter who was left out. considering that they had like 8 or 9 HWs in there.

what was even funnier is that they had tunney at 17,and said he beat dempsey twice,but have dempsey at 6

Would move Duran and Tyson up. Put Robinson at the top. Relegate Dempsey.

What is a great boxer? Is it boxing ability?

He was a great brawler at the time. The best in the world and the biggest draw in his time. A serious bad boy with the court cases but the likes of Tyson, Tunney and Marciano were better heavyweight boxers.
