He shouldve been in a neutral corner but that was at 154. In his last 147 Pound fight he knocked the Number 1 WW out.

Then YOU and hundreds of other posters picked hi to KO berto. Then when Floyd beats the piss out of him. He was never good to begin with.

When the hell did I pick him to KO Berto??

I never said Mosley was never good to begin with. Mosley is a great fighter but you act as if Mayweather beat the best version of Mosley. You always do that **** to hype a fighter's victory up. You do that to Williams all the time. You probably said something about Andy Kolle on being a future champ lol.

Ok good. So I think that proves a point. Morales had just gotten his a** whupped 12-0 and look where he was ranked. Sometimes you have to put these rankings in proper context.

Eric Morales was still rated high for their 2nd fight. Actually, at the half way mark of the fight, Morales was clearly winning by about 3 rounds against Manny. Larry Merchant and company were already counting Manny out in the fight. They were saying that Morales was too big and it showed. That Manny was better at 126. Manny proved to the world that he was the better man and hit Morales with heavy shots that weakened Morales's legs.

By the 3rd fight, Manny had Morales's number.

Was Morales in his prime? He was only 30 so even if it wasn't a prime Morales, Morales was always a big threat. Anyone that was not at Manny's caliber would have lost at 130 against Morales. Actually up to that point he had only lost to Barrera at 130.

If you are trying to discredit fighting Morales then you might as well discredit almost all of Floyd's opponents.

That means very, very little. Erik Morales was way past it for the second and third bouts. This is not difficult to see. In fact, I'm stunned this is even a debate.

Well if we're just going based on personal opinion and not an officail ranking about how much of a challenge Zab, Baldo, Erik, and Whitaker were to Floyd, Manny, and Oscar than there's no right or wrong here.

It's my personal opinion that the 2006 Erik Morales was a better challenge for 2006 Manny Pacquiao than 2006 Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir for for 2006 Floyd Mayweather, which is why I think Pacquiao had a beeter '06.

Why are we comparing Floyd and Pac? Let's try and keep it separate for once, ok? Back to Morales...he had just finished getting his ass royally whupped by Zahir Raheem. Logic tells you that Manny (who was the co-feature on that PPV) should've tried to make a fight with Raheem. Or that Morales would've sought revenge. But Morales was not the same fighter. Even worse, he could no longer make 130. He begged Top Rank to make the rematch at a catchweight. They refused. Even worse, they hit him with a huge fine if he came in over. So - as is the case with most weight drained fighters - Morales started strong out the gate and it was all downhill from there.

No its not the same logic. Mosley is not shot to pieces.
Against Raheem it was his first fight at lightweight (for a title). Maybe he had to fight a few weaker opponents or maybe Morales was not the same guy at that weight.
