    Let's keep it real huggers.
What does age have to do with anything?

    How old was Meldrick Taylor?

    Jermain Taylor?

    Fernando Vargas?

    Miguel Cotto?

Age has **** to do with how shot a fighter is.

Morales was rated high in the P4P list in the first and second fight. Did you even watch the Raheem fight. Zahir was not even remotely close to hurting Morales. Morales lost because of a style mismatch against a slick fighter. The guy scored his way to a decision against a bloated, soft Morales who was fighting at LW for the first time. Try watching the fight before making any comments.

Yes I watched that fight. Raheem dominated him from start to finish.

Really? So Raheem didn't send Morales staggering across the ring with hard rights on two occassions? Oh, and win every round easy?

          WTF???????

WTF are you talking about? Point specifically to where I said that. Either that or STFU.

            Aww man, I should've known. I'm talking to a d*ckrider. Carry on.

You are discrediting the fight with Morales because Morales was not in his prime. If you take this logic then you might as well discredit most of Floyd's fights of late.

The Baldomir stuff was meant for the ongoing conversation. Not you specifically.

No I am not any rider. Do I like Manny? Yes, as he comes to fight and his fights are usually exciting to watch. I went for Morales in those fights. I went for Marquez against Manny .... I am not one(rider), not even close. This is why, in my opinion, I may have a more open mind about things.

Raheem did not dominate. Morales couldn't get off because he was too slow and overweight in that fight... That was a freakin ugly fight, and Raheem was all over the place. A fight like that would not end a fighter's career or make him lose his prime (or whatever left of it). Heck, any fight against Raheem is ugly..just watch his fight against Freitas.

If you want to look at the Barrera fights as the fight that he became out of his prime, then I fine with it...

He was beaten from pillar to post. **** that, he was straight up embarrassed. Nah man, Pac should've left it alone or fought Zahir. I was quite disgusted by that move but hey, Top Rank likes to keep it in house, regardless of what we think.

Honestly I don't remember it that way. The 3rd fight was totally unnecessary. However, pior to the Erik Morales rematch, Pacquiao hadn't done anything at 130 that would warrent a jump up to 135 to fight Raheem. He was 1-1 at 130 before the Morales rematch and hadn't proved anything yet to move up in wieght.

Didn't you ever think that maybe, just maybe, Morales had that edge only in the lower weight divisions and that should be added to the mix when discussing this loss? He had only lost to Barrera in close fights before this fight.

If you'd like to discuss a particular fight of Floyd's feel free to create a thread about it. I'm not on this thread to discuss this because it is absolutely irrelevant. I'm not discrediting Manny because Morales was past his prime. Morales wasn't past his prime, he was at the end of his career and was a badly weight drained fighter. And it showed in his performance. Take from that what you will. If you think it was a great win, more power to you. I think it was a good win, nothing more. Especially since, in his last fight, he had been outboxed, outbrawled and basically embarrassed by Zahir Raheem.

Yeah, I agree with this.. Even Floyd's best win which is the Coralles fight you can make an excuse considering that Chico was dehydrated and had problems making weight, and mentally unfocused because he was facing jail time..
