    Thanks!

I noticed that none of the Floyd fans have responded, so I guess they are in agreement with Floyd fighting opponents that should be discredited, according to the logic of this thread .

Morales was still able to punch but it affected his legs ONLY!!! That is usually an indication that its from being hit flush and Morales was hit many times during that round and the next round.

I was going for Morales but I saw this but some people are looking at it backwards. Wobbly legs, so he was shot. No! He was shot because Manny hit him with many punches flush on the chin.

Did Morales have a weight problem? Possibly and I wished they fought at 132lbs but Manny was the winner at 130 that night but Morales won too at 130 when Manny didn't have his gloves. Floyd fans will duel on the weight, Pac fans on the gloves.

Both (Pac & Floyd fans) have a case but to discredit the Morales fight(s) is going too far, if you ask me.
I agree with this. But I guess people will just stick to the excuse that he was dehydrated. Like as if he didn't get any time to get his strength back at fight night. They rather go with that assumption and totally ignore on how the fight transpired.

        3. Morales was coming off an embarassing, shocking defeat.

Again...take from that what you will.
Why was it a shocking defeat? It would not have been so shocking from what I'm reading today, still you say it was shocking.

Also, you need to consider, as I stated before, fighters can't always carry there advantages when they move up to a new weight class. Especially, the first time up. So you must add that to any conclusion you have about the fight. If you do, you may become "less" shocked, as you put it.

Tito lost to Hopkins because he couldn't carry his assets to the Middleweight. Even against Joppy, I thought this and he knocked him down! Its not as easy as it looks.

I think its because they are looking a the fight in hindsight plus they want to discredit Manny's wins.

When Morales had won 3 rounds in a row, the HBO crew were counting Manny out and say Morales is too strong/big for Pacquiao! Then Manny hits Morales with many punches and Morales had to go but he stayed standing and kept getting hit with so many shots. Morales was even effective partially for another round or tow after that but it was no use. Manny kept hitting him flush and his legs couldn't recoop.

What Manny hit Morales with that night would have knocked many guys down. It was Morales heart that kept him up until he finally went down.

I think you're wrong. So come up with a new reason. Perhaps if you didn't look at it from this angle, you would see things clearer? Not everyone has an agenda. Actually, the people who want to claim Morales was a great win for Pacquiao are the ones with an agenda. The ones who want to pretend Morales wasn't weight drained are the ones with the agenda.

My point was, if everyone thought so lowly of Morales, then how can it be so shocking to you all.

I was not shocked and actually expected Tito to loose at that weight. Hopkins lived at that weight. Tito had the power and strength at the other lower weight classes but I knew and saw it against Joppy that no way was he able to do that to Hopkins.

First, Tito's loss was a shocking defeat. Why? He was a monster favorite. But not just that...he lost every single second of that fight. That's what made it shocking - whether you were shocked or not.

Similarly, Morales' loss to Raheem was a shocking defeat because he was coming off a huge win against Pacquiao (an upset) and was a clear favorite over Zahir. And lost every single second of that fight. How many people do you know picked Raheem to win? And who thought THAT lowly of Morales then? WTF???
