Of course Morales was still a top fighter, No one can take that away from him or Pac who fought him but the truth is the truth which is by the time of the 2nd fight Morales was past his prime, Too many wars, weight drained etc

I dont blame Roach or Pac for saying No to Morales at 135 or 132 but i pointed that out to those people who wrongly thought Morales only lost to Raheem at 135 because the weight was too much for him. Morales actually wanted the rematch at 135 but because he lost to raheem at 135 he lost some leverage at the negotiation table for the Pacquiao rematch and was forced back down to 130.

hell naw, he was way past it even in the first one, and he still handed that scrawny foo his ass to him, prime Morales was even better at in and out fighting than pac ever was, he beat pac flat footed easily outboxing him with a jab and a straight right to the body.

God!!!!! My head is going to explode. LMAO @ "he rehydrated just fine" so he was all better.
What is it that makes it difficult for you to accept. Every fighter has problem making weight even Pac himself.. But that doesn't mean that they cannot get themselves to rehydrate come fight night and get their strength back..

Did Morales fought like he was dehydrated in the 2nd fight. I gave you a reason why and how he lost in the 2nd half of the fight. And yet you keep arguing how he was dehydrated in the fight like Pac didnt do anything on how he was knocked out in the 10th...

Not only that, but burner always says that Morales was shot in all of his fights, hence me typing that. I know him pretty well and I know what he is up to with this thread......

he was at his peak in the first fight, imo, that was the best of him, but he also got sting after that. it's all downhill from him after the pac I. especially with the tranferring of weight classes, it affected him like hell.

Let's face it, this was the continuation of the "fighter of the decade" thread. You believe that Floyd should have been as you even have it stated at the bottom of your posts.

If you want to discredit Manny vs Morales because Morales was not in his prime then you might as well discredit Floyd's last 6 years minimum!!!

How can you state that Floyd should have gotten it when according to your logic, we should discredit most of Floyd's opponnents.

Chico was weight drained in his fight against Floyd yet Floyd fans say that was Floyd's best win! lol!!! .... double standard at its best folks!!!

Shane Mosley: Old (39), rusty(1.5 year layoff) - WAY PASSED HIS PRIME - Discredit

Juan Manuel Marquez: Not a Welterweight, passed his prime, a joke of a fight - Discredit

Ricky Hatton - No notable good wins at WW yet Floyd has him fight at WW - Discredit

Oscar De La Hoya - focused on Golden Boys - Past his prime - Discredit

Carlos Baldomir - Need I say more! Won against a lacklustre Judah - Discredit

Zab Judah - Just lost to Baldomir - was better at lower weight classes - Discredit

Sharmba Mitchell - past prime - had some success at lower weight classes - Discredit

Gatti - Way out of his prime - had too many wars - lost to Oscar easily - Discredit

                Henry Bruseles - Discredit

I can go on but that's what Floyd has to show for since 2005. Total discredit according to the logic put forth in this thread.

I was referring to the third fight.

First fight: Way Past his prime

Second fight: Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy past his prime.

Third fight: Completely shot to ****.

Morales had problems making weight at 130 but he was never goin to be a good LW. He was bloated, slow, and soft. And against a slick fighter like Raheem he was definitely goin to lose. It was really bad match makin' in the part of Top Rank when they made Raheem his first fight at LW.

Had Morales won that fight, there would have never been a rematch. Morales would have stayed and fought somebody else at 135. And Pac would have moved down at 126 to defend his ring title...
