ppl wax lyrical about Ali being the greatest........ask any man on the street they will say Ali.....they prob never seen him fight or know anything about the sport......he is excellent no doubt.....but i think over rated a little bit......he didn't go to the body........
I don't think Foreman could have beaten Ali in a rematch,,, but I respect your opinion

it's true he didn't go to the body, he was a head hunter, a good head hunter, but going to the body is important, so it is a flaw in his game yes definitely

his defense was pretty flawed yes, he doesn't have parkinson disease for no reason (no disrespect, it's the truth)

        unbelievable chin though

He was so great that he didn't need to use body punching. Please, Muhammad ali is not overrated. It is hard to say ENOUGH good things about him.

And one thing I have to say to you TS, you are clutching the thinnest of straws here. Ali's supposed "robbery" fights were no where near robberies.

you are obviously not the slightest objective for many reasons :

you are probably muslim just like Ali
Ali is probably your favorite fighter, as your account name suggests
you have a mohamed in your avatar (don't know how to say it in another way, I don't mean to be disrespectful)

Young was a pure robbery, something your unconditional love for Ali will prevent you from admitting/realizing

and there is a strong case to say Shavers, Norton II and III were robberies (apparently)

you're being too emotional, Ali is a great fighter, I just wonder if he's not a bit overrated, and people who have posted came up with good points as to why he's not overrated and as to why he might be a bit overrated

these are just discussions, you take it too seriously

Young was not a robbery. Ali won that fight in my opinion. Shavers admitted that ali beat him, Ali clearly beat Norton the 2nd and 3rd time.

Ali is not just a great fighter, he is the greatest of all time. It is impossible to overrate him.

I am quite annoyed when you question Ali's record, i laughed when you compared it to holyfield. That alone is ridiculous.

By consensus Muhammad ail is the greatest of all time. He may have the greatest resume of all time, look:
