Aside from his workrate, difficult angles, stamina and strings of punches faster than anyone else, he can cut the ring and can be able to chase Floyd and catch him where he want him. Now if Floyd can hold him down with his ring mastery then that'll be an interesting fight.

yes, Bob Arum was promoting Marg and Floyd at the time. he tried to make the fight and Floyd didnt want to fight Margo.....he later left Arum......there was an article from way back then when this was going on...you werent watching boxing..

I have been watching boxing for 30 years, so we could debate this issue all night. I remember Floyd calling out Kostya Tyszu after the Gatti Fight and several other times -- including in the ring after the Gatti fight an an intereview weeks after the Gatti fight and before Kostya fought Hatton. I also remember that Floyd's people tried to secure a fight with Hatton in what would have been Floyd's first fight at 140 after fighting Jose Luis Castille twice. There was a story on BoxingScene.com that quoted Frank Warren saying he turned the fight down because he and Ricky's father didn't think Ricky was ready. Floyd fought Chop Chop Corley instead, who happened to be a fighter that Hatton avoided for two years when Hatton was the WBO mandatory to Corley's title. Floyd was right. Brian Kenny changed his mind to suit whatever insult he wanted to hurl at Floyd.
