Does anyone think Devon Alexander is being a bit overhyped?

The kid is so unbelievably overrated it's ******ed.

He scores a big KO calls out the top dog in the division, and people are just so eager to call someone out for ducking. It's like since Floyd stepped up and fought Shane those same people need to fill a void so they started bitching about Bradley ducking a guy who has one, maybe 2 good wins in his career.

I like Alexander, I think he's the goods. But people are going crazy over the guy.

He literally only has 2 good/decent wins in my view..

Urango who will never be elite but is a good puncher, i actually think people overate this performance. Urango was starting to connect a little more then he leapt in and got taken out with a fantastic uppercut.

Then Witter.. the guy who lost to the person they say is ducking Alexander.. like 1 fight before Alexander got him. Witter was clearly on the down slope of his career too, i watched his fight in England vs Kotelnik he was lucky to escape that night also.

Other then those 2 there is no one on his resume.. apart from Corley who was 0-3 before he fought Alexander and then lost 3 more times after he lost to Alex.

I very much agree with you. Alexander's two best wins are an old Witter and Juan Urango. He knows HBO won't make a Bradley fight right now, so I'm not sure why people are reading so much into that. Maybe he turns out the be the top dog, but people should chill out before labeling him the chosen one.

Nobody's saying Khan's ahead of him right now. But people are acting like Alexander is god and trash every other fighter in the JWW division. But anyone who actually watched the guys fights and didn't start jumping on his **** after he KO'ed Urango would know that he's not even as good as they think he is.
