Does anyone think Devon Alexander is being a bit overhyped?

Agree with you bro. And the fact that he ain't chasing money excites me about Dev, the dude just wants to fight the best.
He understands that the money will come in time, he just needs to keep fighting and winning, no matter who it is.

I think people are rating him based moreso on potential instead of accomplishment. Yes, the potential is there for him to be the best at 140, but I'd like to see him against someone tougher to figure out than, say, Juan Urango.

I really prefer Bradley's resume. It seems like Devon's been picking up the pieces behind his running mates. First with Witter, then Urango, and now Kotelnik. I would like to see him in a challenge similar to that of Bradley's last fight, with a fellow young, hungry talented 140'er.

But WOW was that knockout of Urango spectacular. Jesus christ. KO of the year! Amazing uppercut.

yes, a win over juan Urango says nothing. urango also had weight issues too

That's what I like about him, I like Tim as well, and I think tim is taking more of a cue from mayweather though, cant fault either. Tim is the better of the two IMO, SKILL WISE. DEVON DOES HAVE HEART THOUGH.

Tim is good enough imo that he should now be properly paid. I can't knock him for that, he has proved himself.

I cant sleep on devon though, I basically see this fight being like a mayweather pacquiao, willing to slug alexander, vs the skills tim.
