I think he has had better exposure for being a Pakistani and has had more solid support from the Pakistani community than from white Brits.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of white Brit boxers not being nursed to the top and being given the mainstream TV exposure Amir has had due to his family background and skill.

This has caused dischord. Consider Hatton having to wait so long to get a title shot and he was 27 when he got that WBA belt Amir has now. Hatton came from a much poorer background and no-one in his family has sporting connections.

This makes Hatton a proper working class hero. Like Benn, Eubank, Bruno etc

First of all he is a big Superstar in the UK up with David Haye right now..

WTF are you on about popular as Froch, Mitchell? they aren't well known at all or popular, even though Froch has achieved more as of right now.
