I was rooting for Mosley that's my favorite fighter but if Mosley made a move I did not agree with(PEDS)I let him have it the same way.No bias here brother.Your not a **** rider for saying it takes two to make a fight your a **** rider for assuming I'm a Floyd hater just because I don't agree with something he did.Ok he wanted guarantees when he was with Top Rank but after the Hatton fight he was not with Top Rank and you said your self that's when that fight should have happen.It would have happen if he felt he something left to prove.We are not seeing the Manny fight because Manny did not want to give in to May's demand why are you saying Arum?If Pac say's yes the fight goes on no matter what Arum feels.As far as Mayweather retiring I'm nobody to tell a fight when to hang umm up.But if you look it has hurt his legacy and I know he does not care about as he say's(I don't buy it)but it hurt it none the less.What makes fighters great is fighting the fights that should be fought when they should be fought.He had his chance and turned his back on it don't blame Arum.

IN 20 years time, unless cotto is rejuvenated by emmanuel steward, hes done as well. Not saying he isnt good, but he isnt great. manny crushed him, he ran from shane, he was struggling with clottey, margarito demolished him..... hell he might get served JUNE 5, WHO KNOWS WHICH COTTO WILL SHOW UP.

MY POINT IS THAT DIDNT HURT HIS LEGACY BECAUSE WHEN YOUR CHILDREN ARE OLD ENOUGHT TO UNDERSTAND THEY WILL SEE COTTO FIGHTS OF HIM LOOKING LIKE THE ELEPHANT MAN, THEY WILL SEE MARGARITO GETTING KNOCKED OUT BY SHANE, THEY WILL SEE MARGARITO GETTING CAUGHT CHEATING... AND THEY WILL SEE FLOYD WITH A SWOLLEN EYE EVERY NOW AND AGAIN, COMFORTABLY WINNING FIGHTS......

THATS THE TRUTH.... They will wonder why people were saying he doged margarito when he beat the hell out shane who slaughtered margarito.

To be honest i care more for the Mayweather-cotto fight than moreso the Margarito fight but am sure if both cotto and margarito werent signed to Arum we would have seen that fight by now.

I said do not let hate cloud my judgement, Which means no matter what i would look at things with fact that is presented in front of me and i implore others to do the samething.

My main point is there is a reason why Mayweather has never fought any Top rank or Arum fighters since he left the company that is a FACT, Arum is the LINK...

Same Hatton never fought any Frank warren fighters when he left Warren, It was a difficult fight to make even though the timing was great, we dont know if Arum wanted the fight for Cotto or not but to put the blame on Mayweather is wrong, wrong and wrong.

And yes the retirement did hurt Mayweather's legacy IMO, Am a Mayweather fan but i look at thing straight, I hate it when people just jump on the bandwagon of him ducking so so and so without looking at the facts and angles, If Mayweather wanted to duck Cotto and Margarito after the Hatton fight all he has to do was ask for $50M dollars....Just think a little.

Or retire hey listen man I take my lumps(picking Mosleylol)I look at things un bias and look at facts.There is no denying that the fight could have been made and was being talk about just like this Pac fight(not as big tho)at the time after the Hatton fight.May can do what he wants but truth be told people will always look at it like he duck them.My opinion is he should have fought them at that point after he beat Hatton.It was a hot fight at that point and fact the demand was so big and Mayweather was the top fighter in the sport it would not have been hard IMO.Pac is the top fighter in the sport right now so negotiation are different now.

I respect that I pick Shane to win he is my favorite fighter I will never pick against him I did not make a secret of that.And if you were behind the scenes readying my post did I ever take anything away from Mayweather?Did I not say he is a great fighter or say May has no chance he is going to get his ass kick?I don't think so I respect Floyd's skills a great deal but styles make fights bottom line.IMO(and yes my Opinion could be wrong)it would not have been easy work for May if he fought Marga's.

No I have to give you your props you didnt take anything from MAY, I agree you let it be known that he (mosley) was your favorite fighter and I honestly respect that. We are all wrong at times, but thats just how it is.

I just dont see margarito giving Floyd a hard time, but hey at the end of the day, THAT'S JUST MY OPINION AS WELL........

Well IMO for the fight to be made we would need two fighters interested and Arum wanting it for one of his fighter, I didnt see any reported offer on the table from either fighter so am not going to blame either one.

He has been in too many wars against mediocre/tough fighters, He took too much punishment in winning the Judah fight, He struggled to a UD against Mosley with his stamina, He was plastered (?) in the Margarito fight and by the time he fought mediocre fighters like Clottey he was worn out, And Pacquiao finished anything he had IMO.

Unless Cotto destroys Foreman then beat one or two tougher names at 154 i really dont want to see him fight Mayweather, Another thing is even if Cotto beats foreman and another one of two fights at 154 all those fights would add to his mileage going into a Mayweather fight.

Alis style was made for a guy who was only going to be in the sport for 10 years or so, he had no business fighting as long as he did. But it was the Nation of Islam whio made him stay as long as he did. Leonard had a deteched retina, but he did come back to beat Hagler, a major upset at the time

I disagree with this, those guys beat ATGs, Floyd hasnt beaten the same level of comp as those guys

good, but the point is that even with ali taking punishment he was taking that after his return from him being stripped, he couldnt be hit earlier in his career go look at his fight with liston (1st one) only after his legs started leaving him and he was with stronger guys did he start to get punished....

leonard had a detached retina and in no way am I saying that floyds excuse is greater than leonards, but, when your hands are jacked up thats bad...... Floyd has bad hands, or actually they were just being wrapped wrong and too tight, so he would be landing hard shots that hurt him as the fight went on. NONE OF THEM ARE! THEY CANT COMPARE TO THAT ERA, BUT FLOYD CAN ONLY BEAT WHATS IN FRONT OF HIM. PEOPLE TALK ABOUT HIM NOT FIGHTING 2 FIGHTERS THAT HAVE DIMINISHED SOO MUCH IN THE LAST 2 YEARS!! VERY GOOD POINT COTTO JUST cant beat mayweather now, especially if pacquiao fights mayweather and mayweather wins, there will be no public demand, and honestly a victory over cotto at this stage, is really, how should I say.................CRUEL.

I have to agree with most of this, apart from calling Clottey a mediocre fighter. He has the skills to be elite, but he has the wrong mentality, which will always hold him back
