I only asked because I was rewatching some of Mosley-Margarito on youtube and alot of the viewers felt that Cotto wouldve beat Margarito's ass if it wernet for the gloves. You say its been done but people's opinion's also change on the matter over time. I know people who 1st thought Margarito was all about the wraps but now they think he's still good and has power even without the wraps. Some think different & so on

1) Cotto had a busted up nose early. Could that have happened without Plaster?

2) Cotto's punches didn't faze Marg, although Cotto made Marg look like what he is at wrld level, a punching bag.

3) Cotto's stamina woudl have been better with better breathing.

1) thats another debated thing. Some say that it proves Margarito couldve won because the plaster shouldnt hardened until later in the fight. IDK though

I think if cotto and Margarito rematched right now I think Margaito will win without the plaster because Cotto left something in the ring the first time thye fought in which he will never get back. I think Cotto Vs Margarito I , I think Cotto's confidence would have carried him all the way.

Margarito. He didn't win that fight with his power, he won with his chin. And even so, I don't think that his hands were wrapped wrong for that fight. He takes his gloves off immediately afterward...not how I would act if I just cheated my way to a championship.
